More and more celebrities are continuing to be their stellar selves by doing their part to help during the coronavirus pandemic.

Angel Locsin and Anne Curtis have relaunched their “Shop and Share” project to raise funds for testing kits amid the COVID-19 global crisis. The initiative started in 2009 to help the families affected by Typhoon Ondoy.


Angel and Anne tag team with Bea Alonzo and Dimples Romana and invited their fellow celebs to donate their pre-loved items. Many supported the campaign that made P700,000 proceeds from the sold items on its first day possible.




The shop offers collections of celebrity-touched accessories, apparel, bags, collectibles, shoes and more. Personal items from Ogie and Regine Alcasid, Bea Alonzo, Vice Ganda, Liza Soberano, Karla Estrada, Vhong Navarro, Pia Wurtzbach, Vicki Belo are among the first batch of items that were sold and auctioned off the campaign’s official website www.shopandshare.store. Anne’s Chanel bag and Angel’s Dodge Durango 2015 were also put up for sale.


The project is now on its second week and more celebrities and big personalities are joining the cause like Kathryn Bernardo, Miss Universe 2018 Catriona Gray, Jodi Sta. Maria, Tony Labrusca, Zsa-Zsa Padilla, Karylle and husband Yael Yuzon among others.

City of Manila Mayor Isko Moreno was filled with so much gratitude as he thanked those people for their outpouring support to the city of Manila via donations and to those who have provided assistance including the philanthropic actress Angel Locsin and her fiancé Neil Arce. The couple and their team who are behind the #UniTentWeStandPH campaign have donated 12x24 isolation tents to Gat Andres Bonifacio Memorial Medical Center that would be used for persons under investigation and COVID-19 patients. The said campaign aims to help address overcrowding amid the surge of cases of the novel coronavirus disease (COVID-19) by providing additional room at hospitals operating at full capacity due to the pandemic. 22 hospitals have already received isolation tents and Angel is set to provide tents to 38 more in the coming days. Angel Locsin’s stance on ABS-CBN Closure: “Hindi ako uupo at mananahimik”

Earlier this afternoon, National Telecommunications Commission (NTC) orders ABS-CBN to halt its broadcast operations following the expiration of its franchise. This means that more than 11,000 employees of ABS-CBN and its subsidiaries will lose their source of income and it was rather heartbreaking as this shutdown of the Philippines’ biggest broadcast network comes at worst possible time amid pandemic. Darna to the rescue! A closer look to the sleeping tents for our health workers provided by Angel Locsin, Neil Arce and team!

On her Instagram account, Angel Locsin with her fiance Neil Arce and their team launched a "Donate a Bed" project. They aim to source out spare beds from their industry friends which will be used in the sleeping tents for health workers that they are going to set-up. A day after they collected the beds, the team began setting up the sleeping tents and after two days of hard work, they are able to turn-over the fully furnished sleeping tents to Taguig's local government unit. If you are wondering how the sleeping tents look like from the inside or how the security and sanitation on the area works, Niña Aquino, one of the volunteers who helped setting up the tents gave some details about that matter on her Facebook account. According to Aquino, there are receptionist with complete PPE to facilitate registration. There are also security guards roving 24 hours to ensure safety and tents will be disinfected and and will be cleaned regularly.

After visiting evacuation centers in Batangas, Angel Locsin made an accounting and lists down donated goods to Taal Volcano eruption victims. Known for her humanitarian efforts, the actress thanked everyone who helped her for this initiative which includes her family, friends in the industry and fans.
