Dimples Romana gives bestfriend Angel Locsin full moral support for her new docu-reality show ‘Iba Yan!’




The friendship of Dimples Romana and Angel Locsin is proving time and again that theirs is definitely GOALS! For more than a decade, they have been best of friends in reel and real life supporting each other’s lives and career.

Now that Angel Locsin is set to host an upcoming docu-reality show “Iba ‘Yan” in the all-new Kapamilya Channel, her best friend Dimples couldn’t help but cheer her on like she always does. “Mars ko yan! @therealangellocsin Directed by @neil_arce Proud of you both!,” she said on an Instagram post also promoting the show.


"Iba 'Yan!" will feature stories of inspiring Filipinos who go the extra mile to help those in need in times of crisis. And yes, Angel’s fiance, Neil Arce, will direct the show!




Angel first announced the good news last June 6, on her Instagram saying, “Angel locsin po. Bida sa pelikula, bida sa teleserye. Pero dito, Hindi po ako ang bida. Samahan nyo po kaming ibida ang mga nakakamanghang kwento ng mga Pilipino. Pero hindi lamang po tayo magtatapos sa kwentuhan lang. Kwento ng Pinoy, iBaYan! Malapit na po sa Kapamilya Channel 🙏🏻 #iBaYan #KapamilyaChannel #abscbn @ibayanph.” She then dropped the teaser of the show on June 8 announcing that “Iba ‘Yan” will air starting June 14, Sunday, at 6PM via Kapamilya Channel.


And on a tweet by MJ Felipe, we also got a glimpse of the "Iba 'Yan" team in their HQ aka Help Quarters.


He also shared that in one of their episodes, Locsin's bestfriend Dimples Romana joins the team and apart from sharing inspiring stories, Locsin will complete a weekly mission.


The Kapamilya Channel will be available starting June 13 through SKYCable (Channel 8 for SD and Channel 167 for HD), Cablelink (Channel 😎, and G Sat Direct TV (Channel 2)!

Earlier this afternoon, National Telecommunications Commission (NTC) orders ABS-CBN to halt its broadcast operations following the expiration of its franchise. This means that more than 11,000 employees of ABS-CBN and its subsidiaries will lose their source of income and it was rather heartbreaking as this shutdown of the Philippines’ biggest broadcast network comes at worst possible time amid pandemic. Darna to the rescue! A closer look to the sleeping tents for our health workers provided by Angel Locsin, Neil Arce and team!

On her Instagram account, Angel Locsin with her fiance Neil Arce and their team launched a "Donate a Bed" project. They aim to source out spare beds from their industry friends which will be used in the sleeping tents for health workers that they are going to set-up. A day after they collected the beds, the team began setting up the sleeping tents and after two days of hard work, they are able to turn-over the fully furnished sleeping tents to Taguig's local government unit. If you are wondering how the sleeping tents look like from the inside or how the security and sanitation on the area works, Niña Aquino, one of the volunteers who helped setting up the tents gave some details about that matter on her Facebook account. According to Aquino, there are receptionist with complete PPE to facilitate registration. There are also security guards roving 24 hours to ensure safety and tents will be disinfected and and will be cleaned regularly.

After visiting evacuation centers in Batangas, Angel Locsin made an accounting and lists down donated goods to Taal Volcano eruption victims. Known for her humanitarian efforts, the actress thanked everyone who helped her for this initiative which includes her family, friends in the industry and fans.
