Angel Locsin’s The General’s Daughter, docu-reality show ‘Iba Yan!’ and other ABS-CBN shows start airing on the Kapamilya Channel!




Last May 5, ABS-CBN was ordered by National Telecommunications Commission (NTC) to halt its broadcast operations following the expiration of its franchise but that doesn’t stop the network in their service to provide news and entertainment to all Kapamilya’s worldwide through their social media platforms and via cable and satellite TVs on the Kapamilya Channel.

In fact, ABS-CBN programs returned on air again starting last Saturday, June 13, after the three-month halt due to the coronavirus lockdown and NTC’s cease and desist order.


Angel Locsin is back as a host of a docu-reality show ‘Iba Yan!’ which premiered yesterday at 6:15PM. There's also a re-run of her multi-awarded action-drama series ‘The General’s Daughter’ that starts today, June 15.


The Kapamilya Channel begins with masses at 5:30am on Monday-Saturday and 6:00am on Sunday.

Educational shows like Epol Apple, Sineskwela, Bayani, Hiraya Manawari, Wikhaharian, Mathdali are also back, airing on Kapamilya Channel weekend morning.




Judy Ann Santos’ public service program ‘Paano Kita Pasasalamatan’ also premiered last saturday followed by The Voice Teens, the Best of MMK, Super Kapamilya Blockbusters, KB Family Weekend, and Movie Central Presents. Weekend programming also includes the workout show Team FITFIL, KB Family Weekend Back-to-Back, It’s Showtime, Kuha Mo (Rewind), SOCO (Rewind), Kapamilya Action Sabado, G-Diaries, KB Family Weekend, the star-studded ASAP Natin ‘To, fthe legal drama series Ipaglaban Mo, FPJ: The King, Starla (Rewind), Kapamilya Blockbusters, and Sunday’s Best.


Back-to-back daily morning rituals Kapamilya Daily Mass, Teleradyo, and Magandang Buhay will kick off every weekday mornings followed by Familiar Wife and Kapamilya Blockbusters. Weekday afternoons kick off with It’s Showtime, Love Thy Woman and the re-run The General’s Daughter, followed by Kapamilya Gold Hits, News Patrol and then rewind of I Can See Your Voice, and Meteor Garden. FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano and A Soldier’s Heart will return and popular K-dramas will also join the weekday programs— Familiar Wife and The World of a Married Couple.

The couple and their team who are behind the #UniTentWeStandPH campaign have donated 12x24 isolation tents to Gat Andres Bonifacio Memorial Medical Center that would be used for persons under investigation and COVID-19 patients. Angel Locsin’s stance on ABS-CBN Closure: “Hindi ako uupo at mananahimik”

Earlier this afternoon, National Telecommunications Commission (NTC) orders ABS-CBN to halt its broadcast operations following the expiration of its franchise. This means that more than 11,000 employees of ABS-CBN and its subsidiaries will lose their source of income and it was rather heartbreaking as this shutdown of the Philippines’ biggest broadcast network comes at worst possible time amid pandemic. Darna to the rescue! A closer look to the sleeping tents for our health workers provided by Angel Locsin, Neil Arce and team!

On her Instagram account, Angel Locsin with her fiance Neil Arce and their team launched a "Donate a Bed" project. They aim to source out spare beds from their industry friends which will be used in the sleeping tents for health workers that they are going to set-up. A day after they collected the beds, the team began setting up the sleeping tents and after two days of hard work, they are able to turn-over the fully furnished sleeping tents to Taguig's local government unit. If you are wondering how the sleeping tents look like from the inside or how the security and sanitation on the area works, Niña Aquino, one of the volunteers who helped setting up the tents gave some details about that matter on her Facebook account. According to Aquino, there are receptionist with complete PPE to facilitate registration. There are also security guards roving 24 hours to ensure safety and tents will be disinfected and and will be cleaned regularly.

After visiting evacuation centers in Batangas, Angel Locsin made an accounting and lists down donated goods to Taal Volcano eruption victims.
