The young female stars Andrea Brillantes and Francine Diaz have undeniably reached a new level of stardom, thanks to the success of their top rating show - Kadenang Ginto.


Also popularly known as members of the The Gold Squad, these two responsible and family-oriented teen stars have added a twist and flavor to the viewing habit of the Kapamilya fans who are all out in supporting their respective careers.


Proving that there’s no dream that’s too big to achieve, the teen stars’ interesting characters and rivalry in the plot of the Dreamscape tv series totally made a pivotal turn adding to the clamour it made online and garnered an even bigger audience making Kadenang Ginto more successful.




The show may have reached its end but Andrea and Francine still shine bright and are looking forward to more challenging roles in the future as they once said in an interview.


And what better way to challenge yourself and be better in the entertainment industry but to work with veterans in the future. One of Andrea’s personal picks is Ms. Bea Alonzo while Francine Diaz who portrayed the role of a younger Rhian Bonifacio, Angel Locsin’s titular character in her hit primetime series, wishes to have an actual scene with the Action-Drama Queen!


To start off, the two teen stars reenact Bea Alonzo and Angel Locsin’s epic scene in their movie, Four Sisters and A Wedding, where Andrea played the role of Bobbie and Francine as Alex. And I must say, “not bad girls! You nailed it!”




Four Sisters and A Wedding is a 2013 Filipino comedy-drama blockbuster film directed by Cathy Garcia-Molina which featured Star Cinema’s most prominent actresses: Angel Locsin, Bea Alonzo, Toni Gonzaga and Shaina Magdayao and they played the four sisters attempting to stop the wedding of their younger brother, Rebreb, played by Enchong Dee.

Angel Locsin’s stance on ABS-CBN Closure: “Hindi ako uupo at mananahimik”

Earlier this afternoon, National Telecommunications Commission (NTC) orders ABS-CBN to halt its broadcast operations following the expiration of its franchise. This means that more than 11,000 employees of ABS-CBN and its subsidiaries will lose their source of income and it was rather heartbreaking as this shutdown of the Philippines’ biggest broadcast network comes at worst possible time amid pandemic. Darna to the rescue! A closer look to the sleeping tents for our health workers provided by Angel Locsin, Neil Arce and team!

On her Instagram account, Angel Locsin with her fiance Neil Arce and their team launched a "Donate a Bed" project. They aim to source out spare beds from their industry friends which will be used in the sleeping tents for health workers that they are going to set-up. A day after they collected the beds, the team began setting up the sleeping tents and after two days of hard work, they are able to turn-over the fully furnished sleeping tents to Taguig's local government unit. If you are wondering how the sleeping tents look like from the inside or how the security and sanitation on the area works, Niña Aquino, one of the volunteers who helped setting up the tents gave some details about that matter on her Facebook account. According to Aquino, there are receptionist with complete PPE to facilitate registration. There are also security guards roving 24 hours to ensure safety and tents will be disinfected and and will be cleaned regularly.

After visiting evacuation centers in Batangas, Angel Locsin made an accounting and lists down donated goods to Taal Volcano eruption victims. Known for her humanitarian efforts, the actress thanked everyone who helped her for this initiative which includes her family, friends in the industry and fans.
