Merriam-webster.com defines iconic as “widely recognized and well-established” and “widely known and acknowledged especially for distinctive excellence” this perfectly describes Rogue cover girls on their “It’s not easy being iconic” 2013 issue: Anne Curtis, Marian Rivera, Judy Anne Santos, Charlene Gonzales and Angel Locsin.


Having Anne Curtis, Marian Rivera, Judy Anne Santos, Charlene Gonzales and Angel Locsin, who are five of the most well-loved and well-known personalities in the biz in one magazine is definitely iconic! They are some of the most in-demand stars of their respective generations and having them in one cover was never easy but really memorable and fulfilling according to Melville Sy, a senior stylist of Qurator Studio.




When asked what's his most memorable shoot, he said “The Rogue cover shoot with Anne, Angel, Charlene, Judy Ann and Marian. It’s one of the hardest and most fulfilling shoots — from sourcing, pulls, gettinng stuff custom made, jewelry, and matching everyone’s schedule. We were overly prepared for the shoot.”


The said Rogue magazine was released way back September 2013. These muses came together to pay tribute to the woman who makes them look more beautiful as they already are, Pam Quinones of Qurator Studio.


With how demanding their job is having different schedules and appointments, having them in one cover is really a feat! Hopefully one day, after the global pandemic that we are facing right now, we get to see another iconic magazine cover featuring industry's finest!

The couple and their team who are behind the #UniTentWeStandPH campaign have donated 12x24 isolation tents to Gat Andres Bonifacio Memorial Medical Center that would be used for persons under investigation and COVID-19 patients. The said campaign aims to help address overcrowding amid the surge of cases of the novel coronavirus disease (COVID-19) by providing additional room at hospitals operating at full capacity due to the pandemic. 22 hospitals have already received isolation tents and Angel is set to provide tents to 38 more in the coming days. Angel Locsin’s stance on ABS-CBN Closure: “Hindi ako uupo at mananahimik”

Earlier this afternoon, National Telecommunications Commission (NTC) orders ABS-CBN to halt its broadcast operations following the expiration of its franchise. This means that more than 11,000 employees of ABS-CBN and its subsidiaries will lose their source of income and it was rather heartbreaking as this shutdown of the Philippines’ biggest broadcast network comes at worst possible time amid pandemic. Darna to the rescue! A closer look to the sleeping tents for our health workers provided by Angel Locsin, Neil Arce and team!

On her Instagram account, Angel Locsin with her fiance Neil Arce and their team launched a "Donate a Bed" project. They aim to source out spare beds from their industry friends which will be used in the sleeping tents for health workers that they are going to set-up. A day after they collected the beds, the team began setting up the sleeping tents and after two days of hard work, they are able to turn-over the fully furnished sleeping tents to Taguig's local government unit. If you are wondering how the sleeping tents look like from the inside or how the security and sanitation on the area works, Niña Aquino, one of the volunteers who helped setting up the tents gave some details about that matter on her Facebook account. According to Aquino, there are receptionist with complete PPE to facilitate registration. There are also security guards roving 24 hours to ensure safety and tents will be disinfected and and will be cleaned regularly.

After visiting evacuation centers in Batangas, Angel Locsin made an accounting and lists down donated goods to Taal Volcano eruption victims. Known for her humanitarian efforts, the actress thanked everyone who helped her for this initiative which includes her family, friends in the industry and fans.
