“She’s literally an Angel” Morissette Amon to Angel Locsin.




In this trying situation that we’re in, we have seen how people come together to help each other. We have seen how others step up and initiate fundraisers and donation drive to help our frontliners and the people in the marginalized sector who are badly affected by the pandemic.


Some of these people that we’re referring to are those who are in the entertainment industry, celebrities and stars who used their influence to raise funds for the benefit of others just like Angel Locsin, Bela Padilla and Ms. Regine Velasquez to name a few.




On March 25th, Angel Locsin launched a fundraising campaign dubbed as #UniTENTweStandPH. This campaign aims to raise funds to help solve overcrowding in hospitals who are operating at full or over capacity due to the pandemic. The actress together with her fiance and some friends raised over Php11M in 19 days and was able to deliver over 200 tents to 135 hospitals.


With this initiative, people have been commending Angel’s effort amid the pandemic just like Asia’s Phoenix, Morissette Amon. On a live stream, Morissette said “Palakpakan din po natin si Ate Angel. She’s literally an Angel. She has been helping our frontliners and our kababayans during this time.”

“We love you ate Angel” she added.


It is now more than ever that we need each other. Any help, big or small brings us one step closer to overcoming this pandemic. We heal as one, and while a cure for this virus hasn’t been discovered yet, please protect yourself, Stay at Home if you can.

City of Manila Mayor Isko Moreno was filled with so much gratitude as he thanked those people for their outpouring support to the city of Manila via donations and to those who have provided assistance including the philanthropic actress Angel Locsin and her fiancé Neil Arce. The couple and their team who are behind the #UniTentWeStandPH campaign have donated 12x24 isolation tents to Gat Andres Bonifacio Memorial Medical Center that would be used for persons under investigation and COVID-19 patients. Angel Locsin’s stance on ABS-CBN Closure: “Hindi ako uupo at mananahimik”

Earlier this afternoon, National Telecommunications Commission (NTC) orders ABS-CBN to halt its broadcast operations following the expiration of its franchise. This means that more than 11,000 employees of ABS-CBN and its subsidiaries will lose their source of income and it was rather heartbreaking as this shutdown of the Philippines’ biggest broadcast network comes at worst possible time amid pandemic. Darna to the rescue! A closer look to the sleeping tents for our health workers provided by Angel Locsin, Neil Arce and team!

On her Instagram account, Angel Locsin with her fiance Neil Arce and their team launched a "Donate a Bed" project. They aim to source out spare beds from their industry friends which will be used in the sleeping tents for health workers that they are going to set-up. A day after they collected the beds, the team began setting up the sleeping tents and after two days of hard work, they are able to turn-over the fully furnished sleeping tents to Taguig's local government unit. If you are wondering how the sleeping tents look like from the inside or how the security and sanitation on the area works, Niña Aquino, one of the volunteers who helped setting up the tents gave some details about that matter on her Facebook account. According to Aquino, there are receptionist with complete PPE to facilitate registration. There are also security guards roving 24 hours to ensure safety and tents will be disinfected and and will be cleaned regularly.

After visiting evacuation centers in Batangas, Angel Locsin made an accounting and lists down donated goods to Taal Volcano eruption victims. Known for her humanitarian efforts, the actress thanked everyone who helped her for this initiative which includes her family, friends in the industry and fans.
