Angel Locsin and Neil Arce share results of their Covid-19 rapid test!





Covid-19 has really affected our normal life. What's 'normal' right now is far from the normal that we used to live by. New normal includes wearing face masks in public, obsessively washing and sanitizing your hands, social distancing and staying at home. Sadly, not everyone can and has the means to just stay at home, there's our frontliners who need to hustle on a daily because they are essential workers that we need while we stay at home.


Though she has all the means to stay at home, Angel Locsin can't just stay put while she can do something more to help our frontliners who are risking their lives amid the pandemic.




Together with her fiance Neil Arce, Locsin was oftentimes seen in hospitals which is one of the most Covid-19 exposed places.


Together with the frontliners, the risk for them to get contacted with the virus is very high if they don't take precautionary measures and extra care. Thankfully, the couple has made a few measures to protect themselves from the disease. They always wear protective gears like facemask, gloves and face shields and take their daily dose of vitamins and... ginger tea!


Right after they wrap up the #UniTENTweStandPH campaign and has successfully delivered isolation tents to 135 hospitals, the couple took the Covid-19 test using a rapid test kit. On her Instagram accoount, the actress shared that they test negative of the virus!


Many were relieved with this news because their exposure to hospitals every single day has got their followers worried.

City of Manila Mayor Isko Moreno was filled with so much gratitude as he thanked those people for their outpouring support to the city of Manila via donations and to those who have provided assistance including the philanthropic actress Angel Locsin and her fiancé Neil Arce. The couple and their team who are behind the #UniTentWeStandPH campaign have donated 12x24 isolation tents to Gat Andres Bonifacio Memorial Medical Center that would be used for persons under investigation and COVID-19 patients. The said campaign aims to help address overcrowding amid the surge of cases of the novel coronavirus disease (COVID-19) by providing additional room at hospitals operating at full capacity due to the pandemic. 22 hospitals have already received isolation tents and Angel is set to provide tents to 38 more in the coming days. Angel Locsin’s stance on ABS-CBN Closure: “Hindi ako uupo at mananahimik”

Earlier this afternoon, National Telecommunications Commission (NTC) orders ABS-CBN to halt its broadcast operations following the expiration of its franchise. This means that more than 11,000 employees of ABS-CBN and its subsidiaries will lose their source of income and it was rather heartbreaking as this shutdown of the Philippines’ biggest broadcast network comes at worst possible time amid pandemic. Darna to the rescue! A closer look to the sleeping tents for our health workers provided by Angel Locsin, Neil Arce and team!

On her Instagram account, Angel Locsin with her fiance Neil Arce and their team launched a "Donate a Bed" project. They aim to source out spare beds from their industry friends which will be used in the sleeping tents for health workers that they are going to set-up. A day after they collected the beds, the team began setting up the sleeping tents and after two days of hard work, they are able to turn-over the fully furnished sleeping tents to Taguig's local government unit. If you are wondering how the sleeping tents look like from the inside or how the security and sanitation on the area works, Niña Aquino, one of the volunteers who helped setting up the tents gave some details about that matter on her Facebook account. According to Aquino, there are receptionist with complete PPE to facilitate registration. There are also security guards roving 24 hours to ensure safety and tents will be disinfected and and will be cleaned regularly.

After visiting evacuation centers in Batangas, Angel Locsin made an accounting and lists down donated goods to Taal Volcano eruption victims. Known for her humanitarian efforts, the actress thanked everyone who helped her for this initiative which includes her family, friends in the industry and fans.
