“Lahat tayo mahilig sa superhero. Sila ay simbolo ng lakas at pagasa lalong lalo na sa mga taong dumadaan sa problema at pagsubok ngayon. Pero ito ah ikwekwento ko sa inyo ang isa sa mga pinaka-iniidolong superhero ngayon,” ASAP Natin ‘To host Robi Domingo said in his opening remarks  for the special tribute to none other than the real life superhero and birthday girl, Angel Locsin!


“Meron siyang super strength dahil may lakas siya ng loob na harapin ang anumang sakuna ng walang alinlangan. Super speed - dahil kahit saang sulok ng bansa na may nangangailangan, agad agad siyang siyang dumarating. Super endurance - dahil hindi ko siya makikitang mapagod na tumulong sa kahit anong paraang alam niya,” Robi explains.


“At ngayong may bagong problemang hinaharap ang bansa dahil sa COVID-19, muli niyang pinapakita ang kanyang superpowers kasama ang kanyang apat na super friends na bukas din ang puso tulad niya. Binuo nila ang isang programa upang magbigay suporta sa front liners ng bansa. At dahil jan, super love siya ng maraming tao,” he adds.




ASAP Natin ‘To puts a special spotlight on the birthday girl Angel Locsin’s innate altruistic trait in times of crisis. Some of the healthcare workers greeted her a ‘happy birthday’ and thanked her for the support and help she extended to them during the COVID-19 outbreak, calling her their ‘superhero,’ their ‘Darna.’ She’s turning 35 this April 23rd and to give back to what she’s selflessly done for others, a special song number coming from the country’s best singers was dedicated to her heroism.


Angel thanked everyone behind the segment, the whole ASAP family and shared that her only wish is that everything comes back to normal soon. “Kung sino mang kaya, anumang paraan, tumulong po. Ito po yung tamang panahon para magpakita po tayo ng malasakit sa kapwa natin,” she encourages.

“Sana matapos na po ‘tong lahat at sana magkaisa pa po tayong lahat,” she also added.


There is no denying that Angel Locsin is a modern-day hero. Although she always humbly dissented the remark, her impact and influence speak for themselves.

Darna to the rescue! A closer look to the sleeping tents for our health workers provided by Angel Locsin, Neil Arce and team!

On her Instagram account, Angel Locsin with her fiance Neil Arce and their team launched a "Donate a Bed" project. They aim to source out spare beds from their industry friends which will be used in the sleeping tents for health workers that they are going to set-up. A day after they collected the beds, the team began setting up the sleeping tents and after two days of hard work, they are able to turn-over the fully furnished sleeping tents to Taguig's local government unit. If you are wondering how the sleeping tents look like from the inside or how the security and sanitation on the area works, Niña Aquino, one of the volunteers who helped setting up the tents gave some details about that matter on her Facebook account. According to Aquino, there are receptionist with complete PPE to facilitate registration. There are also security guards roving 24 hours to ensure safety and tents will be disinfected and and will be cleaned regularly.

After visiting evacuation centers in Batangas, Angel Locsin made an accounting and lists down donated goods to Taal Volcano eruption victims.
