#UniTENTweStandPH donates a total of 95 isolation tents and 14 sanitation tents to 51 hospitals in 13 days!




Amid the pandemic, we have seen how Angel Locsin and Neil Arce hustle on a daily to set-up tents to various beneficiary hospitals of the #UniTENTweStandPH campaign. On March 25, they launched the said crowdfunding which aims to help solve overcrowding in hospitals and due to public’s overwhelming support, the team has raised more than 9.5 million pesos as of press time.


The amount raised was used to set-up isolation tents to hospitals who request for help and as of April 8, Angel Locsin announced that they have provided isolation and sanitation tents to 51 hospitals already.




On her Instagram post the actress wrote "As of April 8, nakapag-set up po tayo ng 95 hospital tents and 14 sanitation with mister tents to 51 hospitals sa tulong po ng donasyong mula sa inyo. Tuloy-tuloy pa rin po ang pagtatayo natin ng tents at paghahanap ng makabagong paraan para makatulong ng tama sa tao. Muli, maraming salamat po sa inyong malasakit, tiwala, at suporta  #UniTENTweStandPH"


Aside from the hospitals in Manila, #UniTENTweStandPH has donated tents to some hospitals in other provinces like Batangas, Cavite and Rizal.


The fund drive is still ongoing and the team is still open for requests. City of Manila Mayor Isko Moreno was filled with so much gratitude as he thanked those people for their outpouring support to the city of Manila via donations and to those who have provided assistance including the philanthropic actress Angel Locsin and her fiancé Neil Arce. The couple and their team who are behind the #UniTentWeStandPH campaign have donated 12x24 isolation tents to Gat Andres Bonifacio Memorial Medical Center that would be used for persons under investigation and COVID-19 patients. Earlier this afternoon, National Telecommunications Commission (NTC) orders ABS-CBN to halt its broadcast operations following the expiration of its franchise. This means that more than 11,000 employees of ABS-CBN and its subsidiaries will lose their source of income and it was rather heartbreaking as this shutdown of the Philippines’ biggest broadcast network comes at worst possible time amid pandemic. Darna to the rescue! A closer look to the sleeping tents for our health workers provided by Angel Locsin, Neil Arce and team!

On her Instagram account, Angel Locsin with her fiance Neil Arce and their team launched a "Donate a Bed" project. They aim to source out spare beds from their industry friends which will be used in the sleeping tents for health workers that they are going to set-up. A day after they collected the beds, the team began setting up the sleeping tents and after two days of hard work, they are able to turn-over the fully furnished sleeping tents to Taguig's local government unit. If you are wondering how the sleeping tents look like from the inside or how the security and sanitation on the area works, Niña Aquino, one of the volunteers who helped setting up the tents gave some details about that matter on her Facebook account. According to Aquino, there are receptionist with complete PPE to facilitate registration. There are also security guards roving 24 hours to ensure safety and tents will be disinfected and and will be cleaned regularly.

After visiting evacuation centers in Batangas, Angel Locsin made an accounting and lists down donated goods to Taal Volcano eruption victims.
