“True to her name,” A cute Youtube vlogger posted a shout out to Angel Locsin for her relief efforts during crisis




This is probably the cutest token of appreciation we’ve seen by far for the one and only, Angel Locsin. True to her name indeed, her generosity and kindness run deep as she is now supporting our medical workers to additional safe spaces near hospitals premises where people can isolate and quarantine during the COVID-19 pandemic through her #UniTentWeStandPH project.


A cute vlogger named Tin Chan posted a video on Youtube thanking Angel Locsin and the front liners for their selfless and tireless efforts and bravery in fighting the novel coronavirus. She even defended the philanthropic actress against bashers who question the genuineness of her charity works and hope that she receives more blessings.


Her shout out went: (translated in Tagalog - non verbatim)

“Sila Angel Locsin talaga ang nanalo, bilis pagtsismisan natin siya.

So shout out kay Ms. Angel Locsin, walang kupas ang kagandahan mo, grabe ka talaga hero ka talaga, di lang ikaw si Darna kundi pati sa totoong buhay. Yung totoo tatakbo kabang presidente "day" sana oy!




Grabe ang gandang babae at as in maayos ang pagkatao. Hindi kana ba babalik sa tv, pero wag yung katulad sa the legal life kasi sinasaktan ka lang palagi, hindi mo deserve na pinapaiyak "ante". Ano ba ang pinagkabisihan mo, sabihin mo naman sakin.


Pero mabalik tayo sa iyong pagka good samaritan. Saludo talaga ako sayo "ante". And Ms. Angel, see true to name talaga, ikaw talaga yung tao na nandyan lagi pag may mga  crisis or sakuna na nagyayari, hindi ikaw yung tao na magtatago kundi tinutulungan mo talaga yung mga nangangailangan.


Sana i blessed ka pa ni Lord. At para din sa mga bashers dyan na nagsasabing pakitang tao lang daw si Ms. Angel, "pag sure oy". Magpahinga naman kayo sa pangbabash, pero bahala kayo problema niyo nayan, wag nalang sana kayong maging bitter, buti nga merong Angel Locsin na laging nandyan.”


This shout out is on point! This little one is definitely wise beyond her years. We couldn’t agree more baby girl. We couldn’t agree more.

Mayor Isko to Angel Locsin, “Mabasa ka sana ng ulan para dumami ka pa.”

City of Manila Mayor Isko Moreno was filled with so much gratitude as he thanked those people for their outpouring support to the city of Manila via donations and to those who have provided assistance including the philanthropic actress Angel Locsin and her fiancé Neil Arce. The couple and their team who are behind the #UniTentWeStandPH campaign have donated 12x24 isolation tents to Gat Andres Bonifacio Memorial Medical Center that would be used for persons under investigation and COVID-19 patients. The said campaign aims to help address overcrowding amid the surge of cases of the novel coronavirus disease (COVID-19) by providing additional room at hospitals operating at full capacity due to the pandemic. 22 hospitals have already received isolation tents and Angel is set to provide tents to 38 more in the coming days. Angel Locsin’s stance on ABS-CBN Closure: “Hindi ako uupo at mananahimik”

Earlier this afternoon, National Telecommunications Commission (NTC) orders ABS-CBN to halt its broadcast operations following the expiration of its franchise. This means that more than 11,000 employees of ABS-CBN and its subsidiaries will lose their source of income and it was rather heartbreaking as this shutdown of the Philippines’ biggest broadcast network comes at worst possible time amid pandemic. Darna to the rescue! A closer look to the sleeping tents for our health workers provided by Angel Locsin, Neil Arce and team!

On her Instagram account, Angel Locsin with her fiance Neil Arce and their team launched a "Donate a Bed" project. They aim to source out spare beds from their industry friends which will be used in the sleeping tents for health workers that they are going to set-up. A day after they collected the beds, the team began setting up the sleeping tents and after two days of hard work, they are able to turn-over the fully furnished sleeping tents to Taguig's local government unit. If you are wondering how the sleeping tents look like from the inside or how the security and sanitation on the area works, Niña Aquino, one of the volunteers who helped setting up the tents gave some details about that matter on her Facebook account. According to Aquino, there are receptionist with complete PPE to facilitate registration. There are also security guards roving 24 hours to ensure safety and tents will be disinfected and and will be cleaned regularly.

After visiting evacuation centers in Batangas, Angel Locsin made an accounting and lists down donated goods to Taal Volcano eruption victims. Known for her humanitarian efforts, the actress thanked everyone who helped her for this initiative which includes her family, friends in the industry and fans.
