“#SalamatDarna”; Bureau of Corrections thanks Angel Locsin, Neil Arce and #UniTENTweStandPH team for donating isolation and sanitation tents!




Angel Locsin and Neil Arce are working tirelessly for #UniTENTweStandPH campaign. Aside from spearheading the fundraising activity, they are also in the field almost everyday to set-up tents in various hospitals. Just recently, they were spotted at Bureau of Corrections, one of #UniTENTweStandPH beneficiaries.


On their facebook page, Bureau of Corrections posted series of photos of Angel and Neil while they are setting up the tents and expressed their gratitude to the actress and the team. The team has donated 2 12X24 isolation tents and Ms. Sharon Cunteta, through #UniTENTweStandPH donated sanitation tent with misting machine and UV light.




In a different post, Angel Locsin and Neil Arce gave their message of appreciation and encouragement to the frontliners of Bureau of Corrections "Sa lahat ng mga taga Bureau of Corrections, stay strong alam namin na mahirap anf sitwasyong 'to so tulong-tulong tayo para makaraos dito." says Neil Arce


“Kung noon mahirap na po ang sitwasyon nyo, ngayon, I can only imagine kung papaano pa hong sacrifice ang binibigay nyo para sa serbisyo. Basta samin, 'wag sana humina resitensya nyo mag vitamins kayo, sana makapagpahinga kayo ng enough para the next day 'pag nagtrabaho kayo, reading ready kayo. 'Wag kayong magakasakit" Angel Locsin said.


#UniTENTweStandPH has listed over 50 beneficiary hospitals as of Apr. 7. They are still open for requests so if you’re a frontliner in a hospital that needs isolation tents, you may send an email to unitentwestandph@gmail.com and if you want to be part of this project, you may send your donations through Paypal, Paymaya or eastwest bank checking account.

City of Manila Mayor Isko Moreno was filled with so much gratitude as he thanked those people for their outpouring support to the city of Manila via donations and to those who have provided assistance including the philanthropic actress Angel Locsin and her fiancé Neil Arce. The couple and their team who are behind the #UniTentWeStandPH campaign have donated 12x24 isolation tents to Gat Andres Bonifacio Memorial Medical Center that would be used for persons under investigation and COVID-19 patients. The said campaign aims to help address overcrowding amid the surge of cases of the novel coronavirus disease (COVID-19) by providing additional room at hospitals operating at full capacity due to the pandemic. 22 hospitals have already received isolation tents and Angel is set to provide tents to 38 more in the coming days. Angel Locsin’s stance on ABS-CBN Closure: “Hindi ako uupo at mananahimik”

Earlier this afternoon, National Telecommunications Commission (NTC) orders ABS-CBN to halt its broadcast operations following the expiration of its franchise. This means that more than 11,000 employees of ABS-CBN and its subsidiaries will lose their source of income and it was rather heartbreaking as this shutdown of the Philippines’ biggest broadcast network comes at worst possible time amid pandemic. Darna to the rescue! A closer look to the sleeping tents for our health workers provided by Angel Locsin, Neil Arce and team!

On her Instagram account, Angel Locsin with her fiance Neil Arce and their team launched a "Donate a Bed" project. They aim to source out spare beds from their industry friends which will be used in the sleeping tents for health workers that they are going to set-up. A day after they collected the beds, the team began setting up the sleeping tents and after two days of hard work, they are able to turn-over the fully furnished sleeping tents to Taguig's local government unit. If you are wondering how the sleeping tents look like from the inside or how the security and sanitation on the area works, Niña Aquino, one of the volunteers who helped setting up the tents gave some details about that matter on her Facebook account. According to Aquino, there are receptionist with complete PPE to facilitate registration. There are also security guards roving 24 hours to ensure safety and tents will be disinfected and and will be cleaned regularly.

After visiting evacuation centers in Batangas, Angel Locsin made an accounting and lists down donated goods to Taal Volcano eruption victims. Known for her humanitarian efforts, the actress thanked everyone who helped her for this initiative which includes her family, friends in the industry and fans.
