Prinsipe Makata, PGT6 semi-finalist pens a short poem for Angel Locsin on her birthday!




Angel Locsin has done so much to other people that she is receiving so much love on her birthday. Her family, friends, colleagues, followers and fans send the warmest birthday greetings to the actress on various social media platforms. One person who did not forget to greet her on her special day is PGT season 6’s semi-finalist Prinsipe Makata.


Prinsipe Makata has captured people’s heart with his talent in impromptu poetry making. His wit and sharp mind has got him to the semi-finals of the biggest talent show in the country, Pilipinas Got Talent where Angel Locsin sits as one of the judges.




On her birthday, Prinsipe Makata greets Angel Locsin on a very creative way. He wrote a one stanza poem for the actress and posted it on his twitter account.

“HAPPY BIRTHDAY Ms. @143redangel

Anghel ka mang walang pakpak at hindi nga lumilipad,
Tinitingala ka pa rin, kahit ikaw'y naglalakad;
Di man muling maging Darna, ang dahila'y aming tanggap,

True to what was written on Prinsipe Makata’s poem for Angel Locsin, even though the actress has long forgo the Darna role, she’s still considered as the real-life Darna because of everything that she’s been doing to help the people which is comparable to what a hero would do. She always extends a helping hand at times of distress. She’s indeed one of the best people to look up to. An inspiring, kind-hearted woman that’s worth emulating.

The couple and their team who are behind the #UniTentWeStandPH campaign have donated 12x24 isolation tents to Gat Andres Bonifacio Memorial Medical Center that would be used for persons under investigation and COVID-19 patients. The said campaign aims to help address overcrowding amid the surge of cases of the novel coronavirus disease (COVID-19) by providing additional room at hospitals operating at full capacity due to the pandemic. 22 hospitals have already received isolation tents and Angel is set to provide tents to 38 more in the coming days. Angel Locsin’s stance on ABS-CBN Closure: “Hindi ako uupo at mananahimik”

Earlier this afternoon, National Telecommunications Commission (NTC) orders ABS-CBN to halt its broadcast operations following the expiration of its franchise. This means that more than 11,000 employees of ABS-CBN and its subsidiaries will lose their source of income and it was rather heartbreaking as this shutdown of the Philippines’ biggest broadcast network comes at worst possible time amid pandemic. Darna to the rescue! A closer look to the sleeping tents for our health workers provided by Angel Locsin, Neil Arce and team!

On her Instagram account, Angel Locsin with her fiance Neil Arce and their team launched a "Donate a Bed" project. They aim to source out spare beds from their industry friends which will be used in the sleeping tents for health workers that they are going to set-up. A day after they collected the beds, the team began setting up the sleeping tents and after two days of hard work, they are able to turn-over the fully furnished sleeping tents to Taguig's local government unit. If you are wondering how the sleeping tents look like from the inside or how the security and sanitation on the area works, Niña Aquino, one of the volunteers who helped setting up the tents gave some details about that matter on her Facebook account. According to Aquino, there are receptionist with complete PPE to facilitate registration. There are also security guards roving 24 hours to ensure safety and tents will be disinfected and and will be cleaned regularly.

After visiting evacuation centers in Batangas, Angel Locsin made an accounting and lists down donated goods to Taal Volcano eruption victims. Known for her humanitarian efforts, the actress thanked everyone who helped her for this initiative which includes her family, friends in the industry and fans.
