Ms. Eula Valdes sends her warmest birthday greeting to Angel Locsin, calls her “Our Real Life Superhero”




Yesterday, Angel Locsin turned 35 and celebrated her special day at home with fiancé Neil Arce who organized a Darna surprise on the eve of her birthday which she found out 30 minutes before it was carried out. The actress shared a video compilation of this intimate surprise on Instagram
which was overflowed with greetings from her family, friends, colleagues and fans.


Over the last few weeks, Angel had been busy with her fundraising and charity projects to aid the need for additional space in overcrowding hospitals, medical supplies and personal protective equipment. This earned her even more admiration and respect not only from her fans and followers but also from her colleagues and friends in the biz.




“You make a name with what you do.” And that’s exactly how Angel earns her monicker “Darna,” “real life Angel” and “modern day hero” to name a few. Meanwhile, on a birthday greeting post, her co-star Ms. Eula Valdes in her action-drama series ‘The General’s Daughter’ calls her “Our Real Life Superhero” and we couldn’t agree more.

The couple and their team who are behind the #UniTentWeStandPH campaign have donated 12x24 isolation tents to Gat Andres Bonifacio Memorial Medical Center that would be used for persons under investigation and COVID-19 patients. Angel Locsin’s stance on ABS-CBN Closure: “Hindi ako uupo at mananahimik”

Earlier this afternoon, National Telecommunications Commission (NTC) orders ABS-CBN to halt its broadcast operations following the expiration of its franchise. This means that more than 11,000 employees of ABS-CBN and its subsidiaries will lose their source of income and it was rather heartbreaking as this shutdown of the Philippines’ biggest broadcast network comes at worst possible time amid pandemic. Darna to the rescue! A closer look to the sleeping tents for our health workers provided by Angel Locsin, Neil Arce and team!

On her Instagram account, Angel Locsin with her fiance Neil Arce and their team launched a "Donate a Bed" project. They aim to source out spare beds from their industry friends which will be used in the sleeping tents for health workers that they are going to set-up. A day after they collected the beds, the team began setting up the sleeping tents and after two days of hard work, they are able to turn-over the fully furnished sleeping tents to Taguig's local government unit. If you are wondering how the sleeping tents look like from the inside or how the security and sanitation on the area works, Niña Aquino, one of the volunteers who helped setting up the tents gave some details about that matter on her Facebook account. According to Aquino, there are receptionist with complete PPE to facilitate registration. There are also security guards roving 24 hours to ensure safety and tents will be disinfected and and will be cleaned regularly.

After visiting evacuation centers in Batangas, Angel Locsin made an accounting and lists down donated goods to Taal Volcano eruption victims. Known for her humanitarian efforts, the actress thanked everyone who helped her for this initiative which includes her family, friends in the industry and fans.
