“I cant believe this was shot 16 years ago.” Ruffa Guitierrez to Angel Locsin and Richard Guitirrez’ Mulawin!




Every millennials will agree that fantasy themed teleseryes or what we call Fantaseryes played a big part in our lives especially in our childhood. These types of teleseryes open our imagination in a whole different level. They are creating a world that we never did imagine will ever exist. It was mostly impossible to happen in real life and is based on one’s fantasy and imagination, but these stories never fail to capture our hearts just like one of the most successful fantaserye that we all loved, Mulawin.


It was way back 2004 when Angel Locsin played the role of Alwina, a half-human, half-bird creature in Mulawin. She was paired with Richard Guitierrez and their tandem became one of the most loved team-up that led them to making not one but four movies together. Because of the success of the said show, both actors became a household name and starred in various series one after the other.




Because of the show’s impact, Mulawin’s Alwina and Aguiluz are still being remembered even up to this day. Mulawin’s full episodes were uploaded on Youtube and Fox Filipino is streaming the said show every night. On her twitter account, Ruffa Guitierrez shared “Watching Chard & @143redangel

Can you believe it has been 16 years already since Mulawin premiered? Angel Locsin was just 19 years old then and Richard Guitierrez was 20. At such a young age, these two reigned Telebabad for seven months and the success of the series led to its movie adaptation which was released in theaters on December 25, 2005 as an entry to the 2005 Metro Manila Film Festival.


Angel Locsin and Richard Gutierrez have definitely come a long way since Mulawin. They have starred in various projects and got paired with somebody else but their chemistry on screen never wavered! As what we have seen in La Luna Sangre, they still have the same magic that makes the viewers heart flutter every time!

The couple and their team who are behind the #UniTentWeStandPH campaign have donated 12x24 isolation tents to Gat Andres Bonifacio Memorial Medical Center that would be used for persons under investigation and COVID-19 patients. The said campaign aims to help address overcrowding amid the surge of cases of the novel coronavirus disease (COVID-19) by providing additional room at hospitals operating at full capacity due to the pandemic. 22 hospitals have already received isolation tents and Angel is set to provide tents to 38 more in the coming days. Angel Locsin’s stance on ABS-CBN Closure: “Hindi ako uupo at mananahimik”

Earlier this afternoon, National Telecommunications Commission (NTC) orders ABS-CBN to halt its broadcast operations following the expiration of its franchise. This means that more than 11,000 employees of ABS-CBN and its subsidiaries will lose their source of income and it was rather heartbreaking as this shutdown of the Philippines’ biggest broadcast network comes at worst possible time amid pandemic. Darna to the rescue! A closer look to the sleeping tents for our health workers provided by Angel Locsin, Neil Arce and team!

On her Instagram account, Angel Locsin with her fiance Neil Arce and their team launched a "Donate a Bed" project. They aim to source out spare beds from their industry friends which will be used in the sleeping tents for health workers that they are going to set-up. A day after they collected the beds, the team began setting up the sleeping tents and after two days of hard work, they are able to turn-over the fully furnished sleeping tents to Taguig's local government unit. If you are wondering how the sleeping tents look like from the inside or how the security and sanitation on the area works, Niña Aquino, one of the volunteers who helped setting up the tents gave some details about that matter on her Facebook account. According to Aquino, there are receptionist with complete PPE to facilitate registration. There are also security guards roving 24 hours to ensure safety and tents will be disinfected and and will be cleaned regularly.

After visiting evacuation centers in Batangas, Angel Locsin made an accounting and lists down donated goods to Taal Volcano eruption victims. Known for her humanitarian efforts, the actress thanked everyone who helped her for this initiative which includes her family, friends in the industry and fans.
