‘In The Name of Love’ premiered 9 years ago. It starred today’s Action-Drama Queen Angel Locsin and the ultimate leading man Mr. Aga Muhlach. It was Angel’s second movie under star cinema and it is also through this movie that the actress became critically acclaimed by winning not one but three best actress awards from the biggest award-giving bodies in the country at that time. This movie pierce straight to the heart as the truth behind Cedes and Emman’s sacrifices in the name of love.

On its Instagram account, it commends the unconventional story and character development of the said film “It started its unconventional story and character development by creating a perfect tension in the minds of the viewers. The scenes are well guided leading the situation and the characters to a perfect tragic ending.”


The review also includes observations to the portrayal of the casts and how they delivered a remarkable performance is thoroughly discussed. “Each from the casts delivers remarkably daunting performances. Carmi Martin always modifies her roles in truth while giving complete justice. Jake Cuenca shows his capability as an intense actor and proved it throughout the film. The two leads are warmed by our admirations: Aga Muhlach is at his most vulnerable and eminent performance. Angel Locsin is an impressive dramatic actress in the presence of most possible qualities.”

Earlier this afternoon, National Telecommunications Commission (NTC) orders ABS-CBN to halt its broadcast operations following the expiration of its franchise. This means that more than 11,000 employees of ABS-CBN and its subsidiaries will lose their source of income and it was rather heartbreaking as this shutdown of the Philippines’ biggest broadcast network comes at worst possible time amid pandemic. Darna to the rescue! A closer look to the sleeping tents for our health workers provided by Angel Locsin, Neil Arce and team!

On her Instagram account, Angel Locsin with her fiance Neil Arce and their team launched a "Donate a Bed" project. They aim to source out spare beds from their industry friends which will be used in the sleeping tents for health workers that they are going to set-up. A day after they collected the beds, the team began setting up the sleeping tents and after two days of hard work, they are able to turn-over the fully furnished sleeping tents to Taguig's local government unit. If you are wondering how the sleeping tents look like from the inside or how the security and sanitation on the area works, Niña Aquino, one of the volunteers who helped setting up the tents gave some details about that matter on her Facebook account. After visiting evacuation centers in Batangas, Angel Locsin made an accounting and lists down donated goods to Taal Volcano eruption victims.
