#CoupleGoals! Angel Locsin and Neil Arce donate blood to Philippine Red Cross amid Covid-19 pandemic.




Amid the pandemic, Angel Locsin has been working tirelessly to help our frontliners. The actress is on the field almost everyday with her fiance Neil Arce setting up tents to #UniTENTweStandPH beneficiary hospitals. The couple were also spotted helping in the repacking of family food packs at the Army Grandstand in Fort Bonifacio which will be distributed to 140,000 families in Metro Manila.


Aside from attending to the demands of the the #UniTENTweStandPH campaign, the actress has been very busy helping individuals who knocks on her door through social media. She coordinates with suppliers of PPEs online and responding to people who needs medical assistance and in all these, behind her is a supportive fiancé Neil Arce.




As if everything that the couple has been doing amid the pandemic is not yet enough, they just show their innate altruism anew. The couple donated blood to Philippine Red Cross on Thursday, April 16.


On his Instagram account, Sen. Dick Gordon, Chairman of Philippine Red Cross thanked the couple for donating their blood amid the pandemic.


“TRULY AN ANGEL. Thank you once again to Ms. @therealangellocsin and Mr. @neil_arce for dropping by at the Philippine Red Cross to donate blood most especially during this difficult time in our country. With the COVID-19 crisis, many of the donors postponed their scheduled blood donations. But the need for blood never rests and the supply is rapidly dropping. We are in need of more blood donors. The couple and their team who are behind the #UniTentWeStandPH campaign have donated 12x24 isolation tents to Gat Andres Bonifacio Memorial Medical Center that would be used for persons under investigation and COVID-19 patients. Earlier this afternoon, National Telecommunications Commission (NTC) orders ABS-CBN to halt its broadcast operations following the expiration of its franchise. This means that more than 11,000 employees of ABS-CBN and its subsidiaries will lose their source of income and it was rather heartbreaking as this shutdown of the Philippines’ biggest broadcast network comes at worst possible time amid pandemic. Darna to the rescue! A closer look to the sleeping tents for our health workers provided by Angel Locsin, Neil Arce and team!

On her Instagram account, Angel Locsin with her fiance Neil Arce and their team launched a "Donate a Bed" project. They aim to source out spare beds from their industry friends which will be used in the sleeping tents for health workers that they are going to set-up. A day after they collected the beds, the team began setting up the sleeping tents and after two days of hard work, they are able to turn-over the fully furnished sleeping tents to Taguig's local government unit. If you are wondering how the sleeping tents look like from the inside or how the security and sanitation on the area works, Niña Aquino, one of the volunteers who helped setting up the tents gave some details about that matter on her Facebook account. According to Aquino, there are receptionist with complete PPE to facilitate registration. There are also security guards roving 24 hours to ensure safety and tents will be disinfected and and will be cleaned regularly.

After visiting evacuation centers in Batangas, Angel Locsin made an accounting and lists down donated goods to Taal Volcano eruption victims. Known for her humanitarian efforts, the actress thanked everyone who helped her for this initiative which includes her family, friends in the industry and fans.
