“At muling lumipad ang tunay na Darna” ; Medical Center Muntinlupa expresses gratitude to Angel Locsin, Neil Arce and #UniTENTweStandPH team!




#UniTENTweStandPH, a campaign spearheaded by Angel Locsin with her fiance Neil Arce and some friends was launched last March 25. The crowdfunding which aims to help solve overcrowding in some hospitals operating at full or over capacity due to Covid-19 cases has raised over 9 million pesos as of press time and the team has donated over 40 tents to more than 20 hospitals.


Angel Locsin and Neil Arce are very hands-on with the project. Almost everyday, they are out in the field in various beneficiary hospitals. Just recently, the couple went to Medical Center Muntinlupa as they are one of the beneficiaries and on their official facebook page, the hospital extends their utmost gratitude to the couple, the #UniTENTweStandPH team and the men who helped them put-up the tents.

The couple and their team who are behind the #UniTentWeStandPH campaign have donated 12x24 isolation tents to Gat Andres Bonifacio Memorial Medical Center that would be used for persons under investigation and COVID-19 patients. Earlier this afternoon, National Telecommunications Commission (NTC) orders ABS-CBN to halt its broadcast operations following the expiration of its franchise. This means that more than 11,000 employees of ABS-CBN and its subsidiaries will lose their source of income and it was rather heartbreaking as this shutdown of the Philippines’ biggest broadcast network comes at worst possible time amid pandemic. Darna to the rescue! A closer look to the sleeping tents for our health workers provided by Angel Locsin, Neil Arce and team!

On her Instagram account, Angel Locsin with her fiance Neil Arce and their team launched a "Donate a Bed" project. They aim to source out spare beds from their industry friends which will be used in the sleeping tents for health workers that they are going to set-up. A day after they collected the beds, the team began setting up the sleeping tents and after two days of hard work, they are able to turn-over the fully furnished sleeping tents to Taguig's local government unit. If you are wondering how the sleeping tents look like from the inside or how the security and sanitation on the area works, Niña Aquino, one of the volunteers who helped setting up the tents gave some details about that matter on her Facebook account. According to Aquino, there are receptionist with complete PPE to facilitate registration. There are also security guards roving 24 hours to ensure safety and tents will be disinfected and and will be cleaned regularly.

After visiting evacuation centers in Batangas, Angel Locsin made an accounting and lists down donated goods to Taal Volcano eruption victims. Known for her humanitarian efforts, the actress thanked everyone who helped her for this initiative which includes her family, friends in the industry and fans.
