Most of us if not everyone are aware that more than her angelic face and good repute in the biz, Angel Locsin is a true hero of humanity. She has a heart of gold that genuinely cares for others, an angel not just by name but also in selfless deeds.


Every time a calamity strikes, Angel is like a superhero who without second thoughts first responds to those in need despite the risks. Her compassion to others, kindness, generosity and all that she is earned her the love and admiration of many which the ASAP Natin ‘To puts the spotlight on last Sunday as a tribute and celebration of her upcoming birthday this April 23rd.


A special birthday segment which presented some of her selfless acts of philanthropy was dedicated to Angel’s good heart for humanity.




Some of the healthcare workers also greeted her a ‘Happy Birthday’ and thanked her for the support and help she extended to them during the COVID-19 outbreak, calling her their ‘Darna.’ But even without any super powers, cape or any costume, it is unarguable that Angel is a real life superhero who has touched countless lives through her acts of volunteerism and her altruistic efforts.



It was an inspiring and touching moment that Angel was very thankful for. And on a short video message, she also hopes to encourage everyone to be of help too in this time of crisis and wishes that this pandemic ends real soon.

City of Manila Mayor Isko Moreno was filled with so much gratitude as he thanked those people for their outpouring support to the city of Manila via donations and to those who have provided assistance including the philanthropic actress Angel Locsin and her fiancé Neil Arce. The couple and their team who are behind the #UniTentWeStandPH campaign have donated 12x24 isolation tents to Gat Andres Bonifacio Memorial Medical Center that would be used for persons under investigation and COVID-19 patients. The said campaign aims to help address overcrowding amid the surge of cases of the novel coronavirus disease (COVID-19) by providing additional room at hospitals operating at full capacity due to the pandemic. 22 hospitals have already received isolation tents and Angel is set to provide tents to 38 more in the coming days. Angel Locsin’s stance on ABS-CBN Closure: “Hindi ako uupo at mananahimik”

Earlier this afternoon, National Telecommunications Commission (NTC) orders ABS-CBN to halt its broadcast operations following the expiration of its franchise. This means that more than 11,000 employees of ABS-CBN and its subsidiaries will lose their source of income and it was rather heartbreaking as this shutdown of the Philippines’ biggest broadcast network comes at worst possible time amid pandemic. Darna to the rescue! A closer look to the sleeping tents for our health workers provided by Angel Locsin, Neil Arce and team!

On her Instagram account, Angel Locsin with her fiance Neil Arce and their team launched a "Donate a Bed" project. They aim to source out spare beds from their industry friends which will be used in the sleeping tents for health workers that they are going to set-up. A day after they collected the beds, the team began setting up the sleeping tents and after two days of hard work, they are able to turn-over the fully furnished sleeping tents to Taguig's local government unit. If you are wondering how the sleeping tents look like from the inside or how the security and sanitation on the area works, Niña Aquino, one of the volunteers who helped setting up the tents gave some details about that matter on her Facebook account. According to Aquino, there are receptionist with complete PPE to facilitate registration. There are also security guards roving 24 hours to ensure safety and tents will be disinfected and and will be cleaned regularly.

After visiting evacuation centers in Batangas, Angel Locsin made an accounting and lists down donated goods to Taal Volcano eruption victims. Known for her humanitarian efforts, the actress thanked everyone who helped her for this initiative which includes her family, friends in the industry and fans.
