Anne Curtis, Regine Velasquez pledge tents to Angel Locsin's #UniTentWeStandPH campaign!




It has already been a week since celebrity philanthropist Angel Locsin spearheaded the #UniTENTweStandPH campaign which helps to solve overcrowding in hospitals and provide personal protective equipment and other necessities to our health workers.


Through a fund drive, the actress and her team already raised over 9 million pesos and have donated 22 hospital tents to dozens of hospitals in Metro Manila and neighboring provinces.


On an Instagram post, Angel thanked those who took part on the campaign and said that 38 more hospitals will benefit from the sum of all donations and efforts their team is putting on as a way to give back to our heroes on the front line.


Many of her colleagues and celebrity friends have responded to her call for help early on and Anne Curtis and husband, Erwan Heussaff, as well as Regine Velasquez and husband, Ogie Alcasid are among them.




On Instagram, Locsin also showed that the tents from the Heussaffs and the Alcasids have been set up at the Veterans Memorial Medical Center and Diliman Doctors Hospital in Quezon City, respectively. Ten 15x15-meter tents were also donated to the National Kidney and Transplant Institute by the Alcasids, according to her.



The #UniTentWeStandPH is currently targeting to set up at least 2 tents (12x24 meters) in FIFTY EIGHT HOSPITALS which recently requested for our help.


Angel posts updates on her social media accounts and GoGetFunding profile to show transparency and also encourage and inspire others to help fight this unseen invader.

City of Manila Mayor Isko Moreno was filled with so much gratitude as he thanked those people for their outpouring support to the city of Manila via donations and to those who have provided assistance including the philanthropic actress Angel Locsin and her fiancé Neil Arce. The couple and their team who are behind the #UniTentWeStandPH campaign have donated 12x24 isolation tents to Gat Andres Bonifacio Memorial Medical Center that would be used for persons under investigation and COVID-19 patients. Angel Locsin’s stance on ABS-CBN Closure: “Hindi ako uupo at mananahimik”

Earlier this afternoon, National Telecommunications Commission (NTC) orders ABS-CBN to halt its broadcast operations following the expiration of its franchise. This means that more than 11,000 employees of ABS-CBN and its subsidiaries will lose their source of income and it was rather heartbreaking as this shutdown of the Philippines’ biggest broadcast network comes at worst possible time amid pandemic. Darna to the rescue! A closer look to the sleeping tents for our health workers provided by Angel Locsin, Neil Arce and team!

On her Instagram account, Angel Locsin with her fiance Neil Arce and their team launched a "Donate a Bed" project. They aim to source out spare beds from their industry friends which will be used in the sleeping tents for health workers that they are going to set-up. A day after they collected the beds, the team began setting up the sleeping tents and after two days of hard work, they are able to turn-over the fully furnished sleeping tents to Taguig's local government unit. If you are wondering how the sleeping tents look like from the inside or how the security and sanitation on the area works, Niña Aquino, one of the volunteers who helped setting up the tents gave some details about that matter on her Facebook account. According to Aquino, there are receptionist with complete PPE to facilitate registration. There are also security guards roving 24 hours to ensure safety and tents will be disinfected and and will be cleaned regularly.

After visiting evacuation centers in Batangas, Angel Locsin made an accounting and lists down donated goods to Taal Volcano eruption victims. Known for her humanitarian efforts, the actress thanked everyone who helped her for this initiative which includes her family, friends in the industry and fans.
