Angel Locsin thanks donors of bed cots and inverter refrigerators given to San Lazaro Hospital!




These past few days, amid the pandemic, we have seen how celebrities and other personalities reach out to Angel Locsin to support the #UniTENTweStandPH campaign. Anne Curtis, Ms. Sharon Cuneta, Ms. Regine Velasquez, Tanya and Vhong Navarro are just few of the personalities who extend their helping hand to the team. AvonPH, one of Angel Locsin’s most trusted brands, also joined the project and contributed 500 thousand worth of hygiene products.


As Angel Locsin and the team’s project progress, we are also seeing the names of people who have an innate generosity and genuinely good hearts who support the team.


In a post Angel Locsin shared on her Instagram account, the actress expressed her gratitude to Sir Jim & Ms. Karen of Team Network Fire Department & Civil Defense Action Group for donating 10 new bed cots for our frontliners in San Lazaro Hospital. “Thank you Sir Jim & Ms. Karen of Team Network Fire Department & Civil Defense Action Group for donating 10 new bed cots for our frontliners sa San Lazaro Hospital. They also donated 16 bed cots and 200 face shield sa Batangas. Thank you mars @iamangelicap for referring them to us.”




The actress did not forget to mention Mr. Gurhan Gunal and Beko PH for donating 3 inverter refrigerators to the above mentioned hospital. “We also want to thank @bekoph c/o Mr. Gurhan Gunal for the 3 inverter refs they gave San Lazaro Hospital. With the growing number of Covid-19 cases in the country, these isolation tents would be of great help.

Mayor Isko to Angel Locsin, “Mabasa ka sana ng ulan para dumami ka pa.”

City of Manila Mayor Isko Moreno was filled with so much gratitude as he thanked those people for their outpouring support to the city of Manila via donations and to those who have provided assistance including the philanthropic actress Angel Locsin and her fiancé Neil Arce. The couple and their team who are behind the #UniTentWeStandPH campaign have donated 12x24 isolation tents to Gat Andres Bonifacio Memorial Medical Center that would be used for persons under investigation and COVID-19 patients. The said campaign aims to help address overcrowding amid the surge of cases of the novel coronavirus disease (COVID-19) by providing additional room at hospitals operating at full capacity due to the pandemic. 22 hospitals have already received isolation tents and Angel is set to provide tents to 38 more in the coming days. Angel Locsin’s stance on ABS-CBN Closure: “Hindi ako uupo at mananahimik”

Earlier this afternoon, National Telecommunications Commission (NTC) orders ABS-CBN to halt its broadcast operations following the expiration of its franchise. This means that more than 11,000 employees of ABS-CBN and its subsidiaries will lose their source of income and it was rather heartbreaking as this shutdown of the Philippines’ biggest broadcast network comes at worst possible time amid pandemic. Darna to the rescue! A closer look to the sleeping tents for our health workers provided by Angel Locsin, Neil Arce and team!

On her Instagram account, Angel Locsin with her fiance Neil Arce and their team launched a "Donate a Bed" project. They aim to source out spare beds from their industry friends which will be used in the sleeping tents for health workers that they are going to set-up. A day after they collected the beds, the team began setting up the sleeping tents and after two days of hard work, they are able to turn-over the fully furnished sleeping tents to Taguig's local government unit. If you are wondering how the sleeping tents look like from the inside or how the security and sanitation on the area works, Niña Aquino, one of the volunteers who helped setting up the tents gave some details about that matter on her Facebook account. According to Aquino, there are receptionist with complete PPE to facilitate registration. There are also security guards roving 24 hours to ensure safety and tents will be disinfected and and will be cleaned regularly.

After visiting evacuation centers in Batangas, Angel Locsin made an accounting and lists down donated goods to Taal Volcano eruption victims. Known for her humanitarian efforts, the actress thanked everyone who helped her for this initiative which includes her family, friends in the industry and fans.
