Angel Locsin thanks AvonPH for donating 500 thousand worth of hygiene products to #UniTENTweStandPH!




Amid the pandemic that our country and other parts of the world is facing, we see humanity persevere through different acts of kindness of our countrymen. People come together to fight this invisible enemy, aside from those in the frontlines, some were raising funds for the minimum wage earners who are temporarily locked in to their homes due to community quarantine, and some were continuously helping the health workers in the frontlines by donating PPEs that they badly need.


Angel Locsin who is known for her humanitarian efforts spearheads a faundraising activity with her fiance and some friends. The fundraising which is dubbed as #UniTENTweStandPH aims to provide more space for Covid-19 patients to hospitals who are now operating at full or over capacity.


Some of the known personalities in the biz already reached out to the actress and contributed to the project like Anne Curtis, Ms. Regine Velasquez, and Ms. Sharon Cuneta and just recently, one of Angel Locsin’s most trusted brands, AvonPH also reached out to her to extend help to our frontliners.




On her Instagram account, the actress expressed gratitude to AvonPH for donating 500 thousand worth of hygiene products to #UniTENTweStandPH. Parts of it was already donated to Dr. Jose Fabella Memorial Hospital which is also one of their beneficiary hospitals.

The couple and their team who are behind the #UniTentWeStandPH campaign have donated 12x24 isolation tents to Gat Andres Bonifacio Memorial Medical Center that would be used for persons under investigation and COVID-19 patients. The said campaign aims to help address overcrowding amid the surge of cases of the novel coronavirus disease (COVID-19) by providing additional room at hospitals operating at full capacity due to the pandemic. 22 hospitals have already received isolation tents and Angel is set to provide tents to 38 more in the coming days. Angel Locsin’s stance on ABS-CBN Closure: “Hindi ako uupo at mananahimik”

Earlier this afternoon, National Telecommunications Commission (NTC) orders ABS-CBN to halt its broadcast operations following the expiration of its franchise. This means that more than 11,000 employees of ABS-CBN and its subsidiaries will lose their source of income and it was rather heartbreaking as this shutdown of the Philippines’ biggest broadcast network comes at worst possible time amid pandemic. Darna to the rescue! A closer look to the sleeping tents for our health workers provided by Angel Locsin, Neil Arce and team!

On her Instagram account, Angel Locsin with her fiance Neil Arce and their team launched a "Donate a Bed" project. They aim to source out spare beds from their industry friends which will be used in the sleeping tents for health workers that they are going to set-up. A day after they collected the beds, the team began setting up the sleeping tents and after two days of hard work, they are able to turn-over the fully furnished sleeping tents to Taguig's local government unit. If you are wondering how the sleeping tents look like from the inside or how the security and sanitation on the area works, Niña Aquino, one of the volunteers who helped setting up the tents gave some details about that matter on her Facebook account. According to Aquino, there are receptionist with complete PPE to facilitate registration. There are also security guards roving 24 hours to ensure safety and tents will be disinfected and and will be cleaned regularly.

After visiting evacuation centers in Batangas, Angel Locsin made an accounting and lists down donated goods to Taal Volcano eruption victims. Known for her humanitarian efforts, the actress thanked everyone who helped her for this initiative which includes her family, friends in the industry and fans.
