Angel Locsin reveals that she got scared of Iza Calzado’s health condition!




The novel coronavirus chaos spares no one. Everyone is affected and thousands have already died of the disease.

In the Philippines, there are already over 4000 tested positive of the disease and Iza Calzado is one the celebrity victims who thankfully has fully recovered from COVID-19 after weeks of proper treatment. She refused to detail the specific treatment she received as advised by her doctors but she narrated her experience of getting diagnosed and her story of recovery. She said that her early symptoms were dry throat, and cough, but she did not have high fever yet on the onset of the disease.


Calzado first revealed on March 25 that she had been suffering from pneumonia and announced on March 30 that the result turned negative for COVID. She was the second showbiz personality to be infected with COVID-19, after screen veteran Christopher de Leon.




Meanwhile, on an Instagram post by philanthropic actress Angel Locsin, Iza thanked Angel and fiancé Neil Arce for their initiatives in helping out our healthcare workers. “Bravo, Angel and Neil! Maraming salamat! ❤️,” she said.


Angel was quick to reply and revealed that she got scared of Iza’s previous health condition saying, “@missizacalzado Mars!!!! Kinabahan kaming lahat sayo mahal kita!.”


It was a rare interaction between of our dear Amihan and Darna which make us realize that even those whom we considered most powerful are vulnerable to this invisible enemy.


Just like what Iza said, “Together we can overcome all of this.” Lets continue praying for healing, strength and miracle that this ends real soon.

Angel Locsin’s stance on ABS-CBN Closure: “Hindi ako uupo at mananahimik”

Earlier this afternoon, National Telecommunications Commission (NTC) orders ABS-CBN to halt its broadcast operations following the expiration of its franchise. This means that more than 11,000 employees of ABS-CBN and its subsidiaries will lose their source of income and it was rather heartbreaking as this shutdown of the Philippines’ biggest broadcast network comes at worst possible time amid pandemic. Darna to the rescue! A closer look to the sleeping tents for our health workers provided by Angel Locsin, Neil Arce and team!

On her Instagram account, Angel Locsin with her fiance Neil Arce and their team launched a "Donate a Bed" project. They aim to source out spare beds from their industry friends which will be used in the sleeping tents for health workers that they are going to set-up. A day after they collected the beds, the team began setting up the sleeping tents and after two days of hard work, they are able to turn-over the fully furnished sleeping tents to Taguig's local government unit. If you are wondering how the sleeping tents look like from the inside or how the security and sanitation on the area works, Niña Aquino, one of the volunteers who helped setting up the tents gave some details about that matter on her Facebook account. According to Aquino, there are receptionist with complete PPE to facilitate registration. There are also security guards roving 24 hours to ensure safety and tents will be disinfected and and will be cleaned regularly.

After visiting evacuation centers in Batangas, Angel Locsin made an accounting and lists down donated goods to Taal Volcano eruption victims. Known for her humanitarian efforts, the actress thanked everyone who helped her for this initiative which includes her family, friends in the industry and fans.
