After conquering TV screens as a Kapamilya through her teleserye Lobo, Angel Locsin reigns supreme in the big screen in Love Me Again (Land down Under) with Piolo Pascual which is under Star Cinema, her first movie since she transferred to Kapamilya network.


The success of her first movie in Star Cinema has led to six more to date and for her birthday, Star Cinema listed award-winning moments from her movies from 2009 to present.


After the movie ‘Love Me Again’, Angel Locsin starred in the movie ‘In The Name of Love’ opposite Mr. Aga Muhlach. This movie showed Angel’s talent in dancing where she learned pole dancing. Because of her impeccable performance as Cedes, Angel Locsin won 3 Best Actress Awards. This is where the popular “Pag lumingon ka, akin ka” line is from.


After giving life to Cedes, Angel Locsin once again made the movie goers cry as she take on the role of Grace in ‘One More Try.’




This movie was part of 2012 Metro Manila Film Fest and the second most watched movie in the the festival.


Angel Locsin did not disappoint on this one, everyone cried when she said “Kahit isang gabi lang, pahiram ng asawa mo”. Her portrayal earned her 4 best actress awards one of which is the most coveted FAMAS Best Actress Award.


Angel Locsin is someone who never runs out of something new that she can offer to the table. After three drama movies, she accepted the challenge of a daring role through ‘Unofficially Yours’ alongside John Lloyd Cruz. No one can ever forget their hot and steamy moments in this movie and the ‘kilig’ they made the movie goers feel.


No one can ever question Angel’s versatility as she takes on different characters. The actress can also take on light drama and romantic comedy like ‘Four Sisters and A Wedding’ and ‘The Third Party.’



She can also act alongside a veteran actress like Ms. Vilma Santos without getting overshadowed when she portrayed the role of Jaica in Everything About Her that earned her an international recognition as Best Supporting Actress in Asia Pacific Film Festival.

The couple and their team who are behind the #UniTentWeStandPH campaign have donated 12x24 isolation tents to Gat Andres Bonifacio Memorial Medical Center that would be used for persons under investigation and COVID-19 patients. The said campaign aims to help address overcrowding amid the surge of cases of the novel coronavirus disease (COVID-19) by providing additional room at hospitals operating at full capacity due to the pandemic. 22 hospitals have already received isolation tents and Angel is set to provide tents to 38 more in the coming days. Angel Locsin’s stance on ABS-CBN Closure: “Hindi ako uupo at mananahimik”

Earlier this afternoon, National Telecommunications Commission (NTC) orders ABS-CBN to halt its broadcast operations following the expiration of its franchise. This means that more than 11,000 employees of ABS-CBN and its subsidiaries will lose their source of income and it was rather heartbreaking as this shutdown of the Philippines’ biggest broadcast network comes at worst possible time amid pandemic. Darna to the rescue! A closer look to the sleeping tents for our health workers provided by Angel Locsin, Neil Arce and team!

On her Instagram account, Angel Locsin with her fiance Neil Arce and their team launched a "Donate a Bed" project. They aim to source out spare beds from their industry friends which will be used in the sleeping tents for health workers that they are going to set-up. A day after they collected the beds, the team began setting up the sleeping tents and after two days of hard work, they are able to turn-over the fully furnished sleeping tents to Taguig's local government unit. If you are wondering how the sleeping tents look like from the inside or how the security and sanitation on the area works, Niña Aquino, one of the volunteers who helped setting up the tents gave some details about that matter on her Facebook account. According to Aquino, there are receptionist with complete PPE to facilitate registration. There are also security guards roving 24 hours to ensure safety and tents will be disinfected and and will be cleaned regularly.

After visiting evacuation centers in Batangas, Angel Locsin made an accounting and lists down donated goods to Taal Volcano eruption victims. Known for her humanitarian efforts, the actress thanked everyone who helped her for this initiative which includes her family, friends in the industry and fans.
