A netizen inspired by Angel Locsin, made a Darna face shield out of plastic bottle for his niece.




Angel Locsin proves time and again that not all superheroes wear capes. Dubbed as real-life Darna, she doesn’t need no mutant powers to be the superhero she already is.


Now that the country is faced with an invisible viral enemy, the COVID-19 that is also affecting the entire world with no exemption, the actress Angel Locsin joins the fight against this pandemic, been out in force on social media sharing some tips for helping to stop the spread of the coronavirus.


Along with her fiancé Neil Arce and friends, Angel put up a campaign dubbed as #UniTentWeStandPH which aims to help address overcrowding amid the surge of cases of the novel coronavirus disease (COVID-19) by providing additional room at hospitals operating at full capacity due to the pandemic.




They have raised over P11 million cash donations which being allocated to give at least 2 12x24 isolation tents to 150 hospitals in Metro Manila and neighboring provinces and also provide medical supplies and protective personal equipment (PPEs).


But more than the money or the tangible goods she shares or her presence that gives hope and joy to people in need, the positive influence of her deeds that inspires others to do the same is what makes a great impact. A small act of kindness can go a long way they say just like how this netizen got inspired by his favorite Darna and created a Darna face shield out of plastic bottle for his niece.

Earlier this afternoon, National Telecommunications Commission (NTC) orders ABS-CBN to halt its broadcast operations following the expiration of its franchise. Darna to the rescue! A closer look to the sleeping tents for our health workers provided by Angel Locsin, Neil Arce and team!

On her Instagram account, Angel Locsin with her fiance Neil Arce and their team launched a "Donate a Bed" project. They aim to source out spare beds from their industry friends which will be used in the sleeping tents for health workers that they are going to set-up. A day after they collected the beds, the team began setting up the sleeping tents and after two days of hard work, they are able to turn-over the fully furnished sleeping tents to Taguig's local government unit. If you are wondering how the sleeping tents look like from the inside or how the security and sanitation on the area works, Niña Aquino, one of the volunteers who helped setting up the tents gave some details about that matter on her Facebook account. According to Aquino, there are receptionist with complete PPE to facilitate registration. There are also security guards roving 24 hours to ensure safety and tents will be disinfected and and will be cleaned regularly.

After visiting evacuation centers in Batangas, Angel Locsin made an accounting and lists down donated goods to Taal Volcano eruption victims.
