A Netizen gets inspired by Angel Locsin to donate blood amid Covid-19 pandemic; the actress reacts!

Save lives” this was Angel Locsin’s call for blood donors on her Instagram account after the actress and humanitarian together with her fiancé Neil Arce donated blood to Philippine Red Cross on  thursday, April 16.


A day after Angel and Neil’s blood donation, a netizen who goes with a twitter username ‘@ItsGhieNaga’ posted a photo of him while donating blood and on his caption he wrote “Inspired by ms @143redangel [Angel Locsin] thank you philippine red cross.” 




Angel Locsin commends the netizen for donating blood amid the pandemic, “Good job” the actress wrote.


Angel Locsin is an active volunteer and blood donor of Philippine Red Cross. She joins their relief packing and coordinates her own relief operations to them just like her recent visit in the quake-hit areas in Mindanao and some parts of Batangas who are badly affected by the eruption of Taal Volcano.


Philippine Red Cross continues to call for blood donors in this time of crisis. Just like what Angel has mentioned, due to the pandemic and the restrictions of the enhanced community quarantine, many of the donors postponed their scheduled blood donations but the demand for blood never stops. Angel Locsin’s stance on ABS-CBN Closure: “Hindi ako uupo at mananahimik”

Earlier this afternoon, National Telecommunications Commission (NTC) orders ABS-CBN to halt its broadcast operations following the expiration of its franchise. This means that more than 11,000 employees of ABS-CBN and its subsidiaries will lose their source of income and it was rather heartbreaking as this shutdown of the Philippines’ biggest broadcast network comes at worst possible time amid pandemic. Darna to the rescue! A closer look to the sleeping tents for our health workers provided by Angel Locsin, Neil Arce and team!

On her Instagram account, Angel Locsin with her fiance Neil Arce and their team launched a "Donate a Bed" project. They aim to source out spare beds from their industry friends which will be used in the sleeping tents for health workers that they are going to set-up. A day after they collected the beds, the team began setting up the sleeping tents and after two days of hard work, they are able to turn-over the fully furnished sleeping tents to Taguig's local government unit. If you are wondering how the sleeping tents look like from the inside or how the security and sanitation on the area works, Niña Aquino, one of the volunteers who helped setting up the tents gave some details about that matter on her Facebook account. According to Aquino, there are receptionist with complete PPE to facilitate registration. There are also security guards roving 24 hours to ensure safety and tents will be disinfected and and will be cleaned regularly.

After visiting evacuation centers in Batangas, Angel Locsin made an accounting and lists down donated goods to Taal Volcano eruption victims. Known for her humanitarian efforts, the actress thanked everyone who helped her for this initiative which includes her family, friends in the industry and fans.
