Whilst most of us are staying at home, some of the Filipino people are still in a blur on how to make ends meet on a daily and our health workers and frontliners were left on the field to combat this invisible enemy.


At times like this, we see how people come together to help each other. Private and Public individuals and entities generously extend their helping hand for the needy, for the health workers and frontliners who, at this time don't even have sufficient weapon to to protect themselves from the virus. Amidst all the inconvenience and long working hours, our frontliners are still determined to help us combat this pandemic.


Recognizing the bravery and heroic deeds of our frontliners, some Kapamilya stars send their message of appreciation and encouragement to these brave ones.




The actress and philanthropist, Angel Locsin sends her utmost gratitude to the frontliners and said "A round of applause to our dedicated frontliners; hospital staff, health workers, ang ating military, ang ating mga pulis, ang ating segregation department, ang mga grocery staff, ang ating mga security guards, volunteers, government officials and BPO employees, sa lahat po ng mga nagbibigay sa atin ng mga services, at sa lahat ng mga gumagawa ng paraan para maging safe po tayong lahat, maraming maraming salamat po sa inyong serbisyo para po sa amin. 'Wag po kayong magkakasakit at kapit lang po."


Piolo Pascual also sent his message and said, "Sa lahat ng mga nurse at doctors, maraming salamat po sa serbisyo ninyo. Sa ating mga pulis at sundalo, laban lang. Maraming salamat sa inyong lahat. Sa ating mga sundalo at mga pulis, alam ko po na hindi madali ang ginagawa nyo sa mga security checkpoints, mga bossing saludo po ako sa inyo. Maraming salamat ho."


In this trying time, this is the best time that we help each other. Let us all aim to flatten the curve by staying at home. And to our frontliners, our utmost gratitude and huge respect goes to each and everyone of you. Thank you for your service.

Mayor Isko to Angel Locsin, “Mabasa ka sana ng ulan para dumami ka pa.”

City of Manila Mayor Isko Moreno was filled with so much gratitude as he thanked those people for their outpouring support to the city of Manila via donations and to those who have provided assistance including the philanthropic actress Angel Locsin and her fiancé Neil Arce. The couple and their team who are behind the #UniTentWeStandPH campaign have donated 12x24 isolation tents to Gat Andres Bonifacio Memorial Medical Center that would be used for persons under investigation and COVID-19 patients. The said campaign aims to help address overcrowding amid the surge of cases of the novel coronavirus disease (COVID-19) by providing additional room at hospitals operating at full capacity due to the pandemic. 22 hospitals have already received isolation tents and Angel is set to provide tents to 38 more in the coming days. Angel Locsin’s stance on ABS-CBN Closure: “Hindi ako uupo at mananahimik”

Earlier this afternoon, National Telecommunications Commission (NTC) orders ABS-CBN to halt its broadcast operations following the expiration of its franchise. This means that more than 11,000 employees of ABS-CBN and its subsidiaries will lose their source of income and it was rather heartbreaking as this shutdown of the Philippines’ biggest broadcast network comes at worst possible time amid pandemic. Darna to the rescue! A closer look to the sleeping tents for our health workers provided by Angel Locsin, Neil Arce and team!

On her Instagram account, Angel Locsin with her fiance Neil Arce and their team launched a "Donate a Bed" project. They aim to source out spare beds from their industry friends which will be used in the sleeping tents for health workers that they are going to set-up. A day after they collected the beds, the team began setting up the sleeping tents and after two days of hard work, they are able to turn-over the fully furnished sleeping tents to Taguig's local government unit. If you are wondering how the sleeping tents look like from the inside or how the security and sanitation on the area works, Niña Aquino, one of the volunteers who helped setting up the tents gave some details about that matter on her Facebook account. According to Aquino, there are receptionist with complete PPE to facilitate registration. There are also security guards roving 24 hours to ensure safety and tents will be disinfected and and will be cleaned regularly.

After visiting evacuation centers in Batangas, Angel Locsin made an accounting and lists down donated goods to Taal Volcano eruption victims. Known for her humanitarian efforts, the actress thanked everyone who helped her for this initiative which includes her family, friends in the industry and fans.
