Face mask for 1500? Angel Locsin calls out seller of overpriced face mask.
Everyone's locked in to their homes, some were still in a blur on how to make ends meet on a daily and our health workers and front-liners no longer have personal protective equipment to use. Amid the crisis that the country and other parts of the world, some people still took advantage of the situation, some are selling overpriced alcohol, face mask and other PPEs.
On her twitter account, Angel Locsin calls out an individual who attempted to sell her an overpriced face mask for an exorbitant price of P1,500. "Sa nagbebenta sa akin ng mask na nakalaan para sa front-liners natin for P1,500, MAKUNSENSYA HO KAYO," she wrote.
Known for being a humanitarian and philanthropist that she is, Angel Locsin has been pooling information on where to find suppliers of PPEs that will be donated to healthcare workers and front-liners through her social media accounts. On a subsequent tweet, the actress asked her followers to help her find a seller of impervious disposable gown wrap around and splash shield face mask.
On her Instagram account, the actress also urged the higher officials to put in place measures to financially help those whose livelihood are affected by the month-long community quarantine.
At times like this, we need everyone's help more than ever. To those who are selling products such as alcohol, face mask and other PPE's in such an exorbitant price, we are calling your attention to stop overpricing. Let us help each other to fight this virus.
