Angel Locsin sobrang hands-on sa pagseset-up ng isolation tents!





COVID-19 confirmed case in the Philippines has sadly gone up to over 1,000 cases already. Several hospitals have announced that they can no longer accommodate COVID-19 patients as they are already operating in full/over capacity.


For this reason, Angel Locsin with her fiance Neil Arce and their friends started a fund drive which aims to help solve overcrowding in hospitals. They aim to set up additional tents for patients and the objective is to accommodate more patients who need immediate treatments while also prioritizing the safety of the health workers.


The fund drive now has an accumulated donations of over 3 million pesos and last friday, Angel and Neil already started putting up the tents in some hospitals.


They were able to service four hospitals namely; Research Institute for Tropical Medicine,  Las Piñas Doctors Hospital, Las Piñas City Medical Center, and South City Hospital and Medical Center.




It has been a very busy day for the team as they go from one hospital to another and while in one of the hospitals, a Netizen was able to capture some videos and photos while the team is putting-up the tent and it can be seen how hands-on Angel was in the project. She herself helps in putting-up the tents, carrying heavy metals and fixing the covers.


As of press time, the team has listed 24 hospitals who requested for their help. Angel Locsin, Dimples Romana and everyone on the team regularly provides update about the project on their social media accounts.


Angel Locsin and her team’s initiative is something that is very laudable. At times like these, we need everyone to come together to fight the invisible enemy.


Angel Locsin being a literal angel that she is, is doing wonders for the people with the help of her friends and everyone who generously sent their donations.

The couple and their team who are behind the #UniTentWeStandPH campaign have donated 12x24 isolation tents to Gat Andres Bonifacio Memorial Medical Center that would be used for persons under investigation and COVID-19 patients. Earlier this afternoon, National Telecommunications Commission (NTC) orders ABS-CBN to halt its broadcast operations following the expiration of its franchise. This means that more than 11,000 employees of ABS-CBN and its subsidiaries will lose their source of income and it was rather heartbreaking as this shutdown of the Philippines’ biggest broadcast network comes at worst possible time amid pandemic. Darna to the rescue! A closer look to the sleeping tents for our health workers provided by Angel Locsin, Neil Arce and team!

On her Instagram account, Angel Locsin with her fiance Neil Arce and their team launched a "Donate a Bed" project. They aim to source out spare beds from their industry friends which will be used in the sleeping tents for health workers that they are going to set-up. A day after they collected the beds, the team began setting up the sleeping tents and after two days of hard work, they are able to turn-over the fully furnished sleeping tents to Taguig's local government unit. If you are wondering how the sleeping tents look like from the inside or how the security and sanitation on the area works, Niña Aquino, one of the volunteers who helped setting up the tents gave some details about that matter on her Facebook account. According to Aquino, there are receptionist with complete PPE to facilitate registration. There are also security guards roving 24 hours to ensure safety and tents will be disinfected and and will be cleaned regularly.

After visiting evacuation centers in Batangas, Angel Locsin made an accounting and lists down donated goods to Taal Volcano eruption victims. Known for her humanitarian efforts, the actress thanked everyone who helped her for this initiative which includes her family, friends in the industry and fans.
