Angel Locsin represents women in the “We make change work for women” ad of Strokes Beauty PH




In celebration of the National Women’s Month, Strokes Eye Beauty Studio offers up to 15% discount on all of their eyelash and brow sculpting services as posted on their recent Instagram ad.

The post features Angel Locsin, a strong and talented woman who has inspired a lot of people through her many years in showbiz.




She is known to have put a mark not just in entertainment but also in philanthropy for actively participating and spearheading relief and rescue operations whenever it’s called for. She is also notable for mobilizing social media to raise awareness and take initiatives related to education, women empowerment and film piracy amongst other societal matters.


And with this year’s theme: “WE Make Change Work for Women,” Locsin definitely represents women of today and sets a good example as a catalyst of change.


Every March, we celebrate the National Women’s month as part of the worldwide observance of the International Women’s Day. This year’s theme: “WE Make Change Work for Women” focuses on women empowerment through partnership for change at all levels and full implementation of Magna Carta of Women.

City of Manila Mayor Isko Moreno was filled with so much gratitude as he thanked those people for their outpouring support to the city of Manila via donations and to those who have provided assistance including the philanthropic actress Angel Locsin and her fiancé Neil Arce. The couple and their team who are behind the #UniTentWeStandPH campaign have donated 12x24 isolation tents to Gat Andres Bonifacio Memorial Medical Center that would be used for persons under investigation and COVID-19 patients. The said campaign aims to help address overcrowding amid the surge of cases of the novel coronavirus disease (COVID-19) by providing additional room at hospitals operating at full capacity due to the pandemic. 22 hospitals have already received isolation tents and Angel is set to provide tents to 38 more in the coming days. Angel Locsin’s stance on ABS-CBN Closure: “Hindi ako uupo at mananahimik”

Earlier this afternoon, National Telecommunications Commission (NTC) orders ABS-CBN to halt its broadcast operations following the expiration of its franchise. This means that more than 11,000 employees of ABS-CBN and its subsidiaries will lose their source of income and it was rather heartbreaking as this shutdown of the Philippines’ biggest broadcast network comes at worst possible time amid pandemic. Darna to the rescue! A closer look to the sleeping tents for our health workers provided by Angel Locsin, Neil Arce and team!

On her Instagram account, Angel Locsin with her fiance Neil Arce and their team launched a "Donate a Bed" project. They aim to source out spare beds from their industry friends which will be used in the sleeping tents for health workers that they are going to set-up. A day after they collected the beds, the team began setting up the sleeping tents and after two days of hard work, they are able to turn-over the fully furnished sleeping tents to Taguig's local government unit. If you are wondering how the sleeping tents look like from the inside or how the security and sanitation on the area works, Niña Aquino, one of the volunteers who helped setting up the tents gave some details about that matter on her Facebook account. According to Aquino, there are receptionist with complete PPE to facilitate registration. There are also security guards roving 24 hours to ensure safety and tents will be disinfected and and will be cleaned regularly.

After visiting evacuation centers in Batangas, Angel Locsin made an accounting and lists down donated goods to Taal Volcano eruption victims. Known for her humanitarian efforts, the actress thanked everyone who helped her for this initiative which includes her family, friends in the industry and fans.
