Angel Locsin gives update on #UniTENTweStandPH project; Provides detailed accounting of expenses incurred on the first day of operation.




COVID-19 confirmed case in the Philippines has sadly gone up to over 1,000 cases already. Several hospitals have announced that they can no longer accommodate COVID-19 patients as they are already operating in full or over capacity.


For this reason, Angel Locsin with her fiance Neil Arce and their friends started a fund drive which aims to help solve overcrowding in hospitals. They aim to set up additional tents for patients and the objective is to accommodate more patients who need immediate treatments while also prioritizing the safety of the health workers.


Last Friday, March 27, the team started to put-up tents in various hospitals. On the first day of operation, they were able to service 4 hospitals; Research Institute for Tropical Medicine,  Las Piñas Doctors Hospital, Las Piñas City Medical Center, and South City Hospital and Medical Center.


On her Instagram account, the actress also listed the expenses incurred per hospital, she wrote:

“Update for #UniTENTweStandPH (March 27, 2020) 
Because of your donation, we are able able to set up and provide 8 12”24 isolation tents today on four hospitals! 




Here are the names of the hospitals with the price of the tents: 
1. Research Institute for Tropical Medicine (Muntinlupa) - Php 98,000
2. Las Piñas Doctors Hospital - Php 72,500
3. Las Piñas City Medical Center - Php 98,000
4. South City Hospital and Medical Center - Php 98,000


We were able to lower the cost of our tents for today (projected at Php 100,000 /hospital), thanks to our suppliers.
Other expenses:
Tips & food, etc: Php 5,000

Total of expenses for March 27, 2020:
Php 371,500

#UniTENTweStandPH fund drive now has an accumulated donations of over 3 million pesos. From 7 beneficiaries, they have listed additional 21 hospitals who will be receiving two isolation tents each.

Darna to the rescue! A closer look to the sleeping tents for our health workers provided by Angel Locsin, Neil Arce and team!

On her Instagram account, Angel Locsin with her fiance Neil Arce and their team launched a "Donate a Bed" project. They aim to source out spare beds from their industry friends which will be used in the sleeping tents for health workers that they are going to set-up. A day after they collected the beds, the team began setting up the sleeping tents and after two days of hard work, they are able to turn-over the fully furnished sleeping tents to Taguig's local government unit. After visiting evacuation centers in Batangas, Angel Locsin made an accounting and lists down donated goods to Taal Volcano eruption victims. Known for her humanitarian efforts, the actress thanked everyone who helped her for this initiative which includes her family, friends in the industry and fans.
