A movie treat for women’s day! Free showing of ‘Everything About Her’ in Rizal Park!





Women can be whoever they wanted to be. Women make change and make impossible, possible. The National Parks Development Committee joins the 2020 National Women’s Month celebration from March 1 - 31 and last March 8 which is the national women’s day, Rizal park is packed with people celebrating women’s day and was given a treat to watch a free movie, not just any kind of movie but a critically acclaimed one with multi-awarded actors breathing life to the characters. Rizal park gets crowded with people watching ‘Everything About Her’ for free in an open air cinema!





Everything About Her really is one of the popular movies that perfectly define women supremacy and women empowerment. Starting off with Vilma Santos Recto’s character, Ms. Vivian who runs her own company. She is fearless and focused but behind her strong, emotionless facade, she is a loving mother to her one and only son Albert.


Jaica, Angel Locsin’s character, is also one empowered woman. Being the eldest in the family, she worked real hard as a nurse to provide for her siblings. She’s a fighter and a dedicated one. She loves her job with all her heart so does her patients.

City of Manila Mayor Isko Moreno was filled with so much gratitude as he thanked those people for their outpouring support to the city of Manila via donations and to those who have provided assistance including the philanthropic actress Angel Locsin and her fiancé Neil Arce. The couple and their team who are behind the #UniTentWeStandPH campaign have donated 12x24 isolation tents to Gat Andres Bonifacio Memorial Medical Center that would be used for persons under investigation and COVID-19 patients. The said campaign aims to help address overcrowding amid the surge of cases of the novel coronavirus disease (COVID-19) by providing additional room at hospitals operating at full capacity due to the pandemic. 22 hospitals have already received isolation tents and Angel is set to provide tents to 38 more in the coming days. Angel Locsin’s stance on ABS-CBN Closure: “Hindi ako uupo at mananahimik”

Earlier this afternoon, National Telecommunications Commission (NTC) orders ABS-CBN to halt its broadcast operations following the expiration of its franchise. This means that more than 11,000 employees of ABS-CBN and its subsidiaries will lose their source of income and it was rather heartbreaking as this shutdown of the Philippines’ biggest broadcast network comes at worst possible time amid pandemic. Darna to the rescue! A closer look to the sleeping tents for our health workers provided by Angel Locsin, Neil Arce and team!

On her Instagram account, Angel Locsin with her fiance Neil Arce and their team launched a "Donate a Bed" project. They aim to source out spare beds from their industry friends which will be used in the sleeping tents for health workers that they are going to set-up. A day after they collected the beds, the team began setting up the sleeping tents and after two days of hard work, they are able to turn-over the fully furnished sleeping tents to Taguig's local government unit. If you are wondering how the sleeping tents look like from the inside or how the security and sanitation on the area works, Niña Aquino, one of the volunteers who helped setting up the tents gave some details about that matter on her Facebook account. According to Aquino, there are receptionist with complete PPE to facilitate registration. There are also security guards roving 24 hours to ensure safety and tents will be disinfected and and will be cleaned regularly.

After visiting evacuation centers in Batangas, Angel Locsin made an accounting and lists down donated goods to Taal Volcano eruption victims. Known for her humanitarian efforts, the actress thanked everyone who helped her for this initiative which includes her family, friends in the industry and fans.
