A health worker from Las Piñas Doctors Hospital calls Angel Locsin “nag iisang DARNA”




The #UniTentWeStandPH campaign of actress Angel Locsin which aims to help solve overcrowding in hospitals was able to set up quarantine tents at four hospitals yesterday.


On her Instagram post, she thanked those who have donated and helped her with the project saying:

“Update for #UniTENTweStandPH (March 27, 2020)
Because of your donation, we are able able to set up and provide 8 12”24 isolation tents today on four hospitals!
Here are the names of the hospitals with the price of the tents:
1. Research Institute for Tropical Medicine (Muntinlupa) - Php 98,000
2. Las Piñas Doctors Hospital - Php 72,500
3. Las Piñas City Medical Center - Php 98,000
4. South City Hospital and Medical Center - Php 98,000




We were able to lower the cost of our tents for today (projected at Php 100,000 /hospital), thanks to our suppliers.
Other expenses:
Tips & food, etc: Php 5,000

Total of expenses for March 27, 2020:
Php 371,500

A health worker from Las Piñas Doctors Hospital who goes by the Facebook user Ann Aguyam can’t help but expressed her gratitude calling the actress “nag iisang DARNA.” She posted photos of the tents all set up with the caption:

“Thank you Ms. Angel Locsin for sharing your blessings to my fellow healthcare workers In LPDH nag iisang DARNA.”


To all the health workers and other front liners who risk their lives battling this pandemic, we thank you and we pray for your safety.

The couple and their team who are behind the #UniTentWeStandPH campaign have donated 12x24 isolation tents to Gat Andres Bonifacio Memorial Medical Center that would be used for persons under investigation and COVID-19 patients. Earlier this afternoon, National Telecommunications Commission (NTC) orders ABS-CBN to halt its broadcast operations following the expiration of its franchise. Darna to the rescue! A closer look to the sleeping tents for our health workers provided by Angel Locsin, Neil Arce and team!

On her Instagram account, Angel Locsin with her fiance Neil Arce and their team launched a "Donate a Bed" project. They aim to source out spare beds from their industry friends which will be used in the sleeping tents for health workers that they are going to set-up. A day after they collected the beds, the team began setting up the sleeping tents and after two days of hard work, they are able to turn-over the fully furnished sleeping tents to Taguig's local government unit. If you are wondering how the sleeping tents look like from the inside or how the security and sanitation on the area works, Niña Aquino, one of the volunteers who helped setting up the tents gave some details about that matter on her Facebook account. After visiting evacuation centers in Batangas, Angel Locsin made an accounting and lists down donated goods to Taal Volcano eruption victims. Known for her humanitarian efforts, the actress thanked everyone who helped her for this initiative which includes her family, friends in the industry and fans.
