When you wanna go swimming but the pool is freezing cold. Read Angel Locsin & Bubbles Paraiso's hilarious confession here.

Angel Locsin is in her natural habitat again! Recently, the actress has been posting photos on her Instagram sharing that she is back at it. On one photo, she said: “Pretty sure I was a mermaid in my past life...”

But before that, Bubbles Paraiso hilariously revealed that there was a day that only their fingers went swimming because the pool was freezing cold. Water is Angel's element but she ain’t Elsa and the lyrics “the cold never bother me anyway” doesn’t seem to apply to the situation. On Bubbles Paraiso's Instagram story, she said, “Confession: only our fingers went swimming today.  Water was ice cold.”

It’s really good to see her doing what she used to be very great at. We all know Angel Locsin as an impeccable artist excelling in showbiz. But you may be surprised to know that she has a competitive side, that of being accomplished athlete, who, in their time made waves in the local and international sports arena.

Before her showbiz career, Angel Locsin (Angelica Colmenares, born April 23, 1985) was a student and a member of the U.S.T. high school swimming team from 1998-1999. She got her swimming genes from her father Angel Colmenares, a 1954 Asian Games gold medalist in the 4 x 200 meter freestyle. She became so proficient in swimming that she joined the UST High School Varsity swim team.

Angel once held the swimming record in the National Capital Region in the breast stroke, her forte. She used to train three to four hours a day. She once represented the country as member of the Philippine team in a meet in Hong Kong. She could have made it further, but showbiz discovered her and now known as THE Angel Locsin.
