Rhian and Manang Sabel reunite! Angel Locsin and the Diamond Star at the Aivee clinic!




Manang Sabel, Ms. Maricel Soriano’s character in ‘The General’s Daughter’ is also one of the most loved characters in the show. Having shared the frame with Angel Locsin, the Diamond Star and the Action-Drama Queen developed a good relationship that even after the show, Ms. Maricel Soriano still calls Angel Locsin ‘Anak’ while Angel calls the Diamond star, ‘Nay.’


Just recently, Angel Locsin and Ms. Maricel Soriano had the chance to catch up while at the Aivee clinic where these two great actresses are getting their beauty treatments.




While Angel is doing one of her favorite treatments, Ms. Maricel Soriano came and greeted Angel. They talked for a little while about the treatments that they are going to avail and that precious moment was documented by the Aivee clinic and posted the video on their Instagram account. Seeing them together just brings back all the memories of the scenes they shared together in ‘The General’s Daughter’ that made us cry.


Angel Locsin and Ms. Maricel Soriano has definitely developed a strong bond while doing ‘The General’s Daughter.’ It can be recalled that the Diamond Star has nothing but good words for Angel during their finale grand press conference. During the press conference Ms. Maricel Soriano generously shared her experience working with Angel and talked about how kind the actress really is.


‘The General’s Daughter’ for all we know has reached its finale since October last year and it is nice to see how Angel Locsin and Ms. Maricel Soriano was able to keep the strong bond that they developed while still doing the show and playing the said video over and over again will definitely make you crave for a follow-up project for these two!

The couple and their team who are behind the #UniTentWeStandPH campaign have donated 12x24 isolation tents to Gat Andres Bonifacio Memorial Medical Center that would be used for persons under investigation and COVID-19 patients. The said campaign aims to help address overcrowding amid the surge of cases of the novel coronavirus disease (COVID-19) by providing additional room at hospitals operating at full capacity due to the pandemic. 22 hospitals have already received isolation tents and Angel is set to provide tents to 38 more in the coming days. Angel Locsin’s stance on ABS-CBN Closure: “Hindi ako uupo at mananahimik”

Earlier this afternoon, National Telecommunications Commission (NTC) orders ABS-CBN to halt its broadcast operations following the expiration of its franchise. This means that more than 11,000 employees of ABS-CBN and its subsidiaries will lose their source of income and it was rather heartbreaking as this shutdown of the Philippines’ biggest broadcast network comes at worst possible time amid pandemic. Darna to the rescue! A closer look to the sleeping tents for our health workers provided by Angel Locsin, Neil Arce and team!

On her Instagram account, Angel Locsin with her fiance Neil Arce and their team launched a "Donate a Bed" project. They aim to source out spare beds from their industry friends which will be used in the sleeping tents for health workers that they are going to set-up. A day after they collected the beds, the team began setting up the sleeping tents and after two days of hard work, they are able to turn-over the fully furnished sleeping tents to Taguig's local government unit. If you are wondering how the sleeping tents look like from the inside or how the security and sanitation on the area works, Niña Aquino, one of the volunteers who helped setting up the tents gave some details about that matter on her Facebook account. According to Aquino, there are receptionist with complete PPE to facilitate registration. There are also security guards roving 24 hours to ensure safety and tents will be disinfected and and will be cleaned regularly.

After visiting evacuation centers in Batangas, Angel Locsin made an accounting and lists down donated goods to Taal Volcano eruption victims. Known for her humanitarian efforts, the actress thanked everyone who helped her for this initiative which includes her family, friends in the industry and fans.
