Ms. Carmina Villarroel reveals that Angel Locsin and her fur baby are the reasons why she decided to get a Bichon Frise!




Angel Locsin is a certified pet lover, it can be remembered that there’s video of her feeding a stray cat that went viral and not known to many, she has a furbaby of her own. It’s a Bichon Frise, this kind of dog is known for its hypoallergenic coat and she named it Pwetpwet. What a cute and unique name it is right? The cuteness of the name is just at par with Pwetpwet’s cuteness!


Angel Locsin has Pwetpwet for more than ten years now, she oftentimes bring her along during taping, shooting or photoshoots and because of how cute Pwetpwet is, people are also wanting to get the same dog breed just like Angel Locsin’s co-star in her 2012 movie One More Try, Ms. Carmina Villarroel.




In a recent post Angel Locsin made on her Instagram account where she ‘doggysits’ Pwetpwet while pampering herself at the aivee clinic, Ms. Carmina Villarroel left a comment and said “I miss pwet pwet. Because of you and your fur baby, kaya nagka bichon ako.”


Seems like Ms. Carmina is really fond of Pwetpwet, she even posted about her on her instagram account way back 2012. On her post she wrote “I love Angel's dog, Pwet-Pwet. She's so cute. Looks like a stuff toy.”


Pwetpwet is really the cutest! She can easily relieve stress and a good snuggle buddy. She definitely brings a different and special kind of joy in Angel’s life. Pwetpwet is her baby and her companion that is always by her side through good times and bad times.

Angel Locsin’s stance on ABS-CBN Closure: “Hindi ako uupo at mananahimik”

Earlier this afternoon, National Telecommunications Commission (NTC) orders ABS-CBN to halt its broadcast operations following the expiration of its franchise. This means that more than 11,000 employees of ABS-CBN and its subsidiaries will lose their source of income and it was rather heartbreaking as this shutdown of the Philippines’ biggest broadcast network comes at worst possible time amid pandemic. Darna to the rescue! A closer look to the sleeping tents for our health workers provided by Angel Locsin, Neil Arce and team!

On her Instagram account, Angel Locsin with her fiance Neil Arce and their team launched a "Donate a Bed" project. They aim to source out spare beds from their industry friends which will be used in the sleeping tents for health workers that they are going to set-up. A day after they collected the beds, the team began setting up the sleeping tents and after two days of hard work, they are able to turn-over the fully furnished sleeping tents to Taguig's local government unit. If you are wondering how the sleeping tents look like from the inside or how the security and sanitation on the area works, Niña Aquino, one of the volunteers who helped setting up the tents gave some details about that matter on her Facebook account. According to Aquino, there are receptionist with complete PPE to facilitate registration. There are also security guards roving 24 hours to ensure safety and tents will be disinfected and and will be cleaned regularly.

After visiting evacuation centers in Batangas, Angel Locsin made an accounting and lists down donated goods to Taal Volcano eruption victims. Known for her humanitarian efforts, the actress thanked everyone who helped her for this initiative which includes her family, friends in the industry and fans.
