IN PHOTOS: Angel Locsin as Isabel Padausdos in TODAMAX!




Tagged as the multi-awarded VERSATILE actress and the country’s ACTION-DRAMA QUEEN, Angel Locsin, aside from her unparalleled calibre in action and drama, also has funny bones that made her a natural comedy actor.


In fact, Locsin starred in Toda Max, a long-running situational comedy series on ABS-CBN which ran from  November 5, 2011 to November 16, 2013. This was a weekly sitcom also starring Robin Padilla, Pokwang and Vhong Navarro.


At first, Angel was just a guest star in the sitcom. But after showing her innate hilarity and with her effective portrayal as Isabel Padausdos, Justin’s (Vhong Navarro) girlfriend, in the first few episodes of the Kapamilya Comedy flagship sitcom, there was no more reason for her to leave the Beverly Gil’s strip proving that her gift in acting is not only limited to primetime teleseryes and romantic movies. She can also shine in comedy.




It can be recalled that during its air, TODA Max was hailed as the country’s most watched comedy program which humor really added loads of laughter and bring happiness to every Filipino family. It was aired every Saturdays, after “Maalaala Mo Kaya” on ABS-CBN and can now be replayed on iWanTV app.


A netizen with the Instagram handle @angelica_locsin_updates posted some of the screen grabbed photos of Angel from the sitcom with the caption: “Napakasexy naman talaga neto ❤️ @therealangellocsin #throwback #todamax.”


And I must say, “SEXY” is an understatement. Agree?

The couple and their team who are behind the #UniTentWeStandPH campaign have donated 12x24 isolation tents to Gat Andres Bonifacio Memorial Medical Center that would be used for persons under investigation and COVID-19 patients. The said campaign aims to help address overcrowding amid the surge of cases of the novel coronavirus disease (COVID-19) by providing additional room at hospitals operating at full capacity due to the pandemic. 22 hospitals have already received isolation tents and Angel is set to provide tents to 38 more in the coming days. Angel Locsin’s stance on ABS-CBN Closure: “Hindi ako uupo at mananahimik”

Earlier this afternoon, National Telecommunications Commission (NTC) orders ABS-CBN to halt its broadcast operations following the expiration of its franchise. This means that more than 11,000 employees of ABS-CBN and its subsidiaries will lose their source of income and it was rather heartbreaking as this shutdown of the Philippines’ biggest broadcast network comes at worst possible time amid pandemic. Darna to the rescue! A closer look to the sleeping tents for our health workers provided by Angel Locsin, Neil Arce and team!

On her Instagram account, Angel Locsin with her fiance Neil Arce and their team launched a "Donate a Bed" project. They aim to source out spare beds from their industry friends which will be used in the sleeping tents for health workers that they are going to set-up. A day after they collected the beds, the team began setting up the sleeping tents and after two days of hard work, they are able to turn-over the fully furnished sleeping tents to Taguig's local government unit. If you are wondering how the sleeping tents look like from the inside or how the security and sanitation on the area works, Niña Aquino, one of the volunteers who helped setting up the tents gave some details about that matter on her Facebook account. According to Aquino, there are receptionist with complete PPE to facilitate registration. There are also security guards roving 24 hours to ensure safety and tents will be disinfected and and will be cleaned regularly.

After visiting evacuation centers in Batangas, Angel Locsin made an accounting and lists down donated goods to Taal Volcano eruption victims. Known for her humanitarian efforts, the actress thanked everyone who helped her for this initiative which includes her family, friends in the industry and fans.
