“Darna sa tunay na buhay” Ms. Karen Davila commends Angel Locsin for being so inspiring.





Angel Locsin has been an outspoken supporter of ABS-CBN amid challenges to its franchise renewal. On her Instagram account, the actress has been consistently airing her support to the network and its employees who will lose their job once their franchise was not renewed. The actress posted series of photos with employees she has worked behind the scenes humanizing the oft-mentioned 11,000 figure of jobs at risk.


Right after then, she addressed accusations that came after she expressed her support to the network. The actress stressed that she currently has no existing contract with the network and that the company has no control on whatever she wants to post. Angel Locsin also addressed people maligning her for being one of ABS-CBN’s subscribed share holders. As per the actress ‘Money is not everything’ and the profit that will be derived from the investment will be donated to charity.




After the trending senate hearing, the actress expressed her admiration to her bosses and attested to their humility on and off cam.


On the comments’ section, Ms. Karen Davila commends Angel Locsin for being so inspiring through the whole crisis the network is facing. Ms. Karen Davila wrote  “Beautiful pic. You have been so inspiring through this whole crisis. A woman with a pure heart and such strong convictions. Darna sa tunay na buhay...” Angel Locsin humbly replied to the respected journalist and wrote “Salamat po sa magagandang salita. Dun lang po ako sa tama”


Angel Locsin is known to be someone who speaks her mind and fight for what she believe is right and she’s not someone who will just keep mum on things that matter, an inspiring woman indeed! Darna sa tunay na buhay!

The couple and their team who are behind the #UniTentWeStandPH campaign have donated 12x24 isolation tents to Gat Andres Bonifacio Memorial Medical Center that would be used for persons under investigation and COVID-19 patients. The said campaign aims to help address overcrowding amid the surge of cases of the novel coronavirus disease (COVID-19) by providing additional room at hospitals operating at full capacity due to the pandemic. 22 hospitals have already received isolation tents and Angel is set to provide tents to 38 more in the coming days. Angel Locsin’s stance on ABS-CBN Closure: “Hindi ako uupo at mananahimik”

Earlier this afternoon, National Telecommunications Commission (NTC) orders ABS-CBN to halt its broadcast operations following the expiration of its franchise. This means that more than 11,000 employees of ABS-CBN and its subsidiaries will lose their source of income and it was rather heartbreaking as this shutdown of the Philippines’ biggest broadcast network comes at worst possible time amid pandemic. Darna to the rescue! A closer look to the sleeping tents for our health workers provided by Angel Locsin, Neil Arce and team!

On her Instagram account, Angel Locsin with her fiance Neil Arce and their team launched a "Donate a Bed" project. They aim to source out spare beds from their industry friends which will be used in the sleeping tents for health workers that they are going to set-up. A day after they collected the beds, the team began setting up the sleeping tents and after two days of hard work, they are able to turn-over the fully furnished sleeping tents to Taguig's local government unit. If you are wondering how the sleeping tents look like from the inside or how the security and sanitation on the area works, Niña Aquino, one of the volunteers who helped setting up the tents gave some details about that matter on her Facebook account. According to Aquino, there are receptionist with complete PPE to facilitate registration. There are also security guards roving 24 hours to ensure safety and tents will be disinfected and and will be cleaned regularly.

After visiting evacuation centers in Batangas, Angel Locsin made an accounting and lists down donated goods to Taal Volcano eruption victims. Known for her humanitarian efforts, the actress thanked everyone who helped her for this initiative which includes her family, friends in the industry and fans.
