Angel Locsin pens a heartlfelt message for her father!




93 years ago (February 17), an amazing man was born, Mr. Angel Colmenares, Angel Locsin’s father.


On her Instagram account, Angel Locsin pens a heartfelt message full of gratitude and love for her father, she wrote “to our human calculator, swimming coach, fitness motivator, history reference, minimalist expert, financial advisor, expenses police, and dutiful father —happy birthday!”




The actress also expressed her gratitude for his unending love and support “People say that we learn from those who have loved us the most. And I truly agree on that. Thank you daddy for your unending love and support as it has truly helped me to become the person that I am today. Wonderful birthday to you, my father dear!”


Her fiancé Neil Arce, Chito Miranda, Ms. Janice de Belen, Ms. Eula Valdes and some of her friends in the biz, colleagues and followers also send their birthday greetings for Mr. Colmenares.


Angel Locsin grew up with her father. He is her mentor and her coach and just like what Angel Locsin said, his unending love and support has truly helped her to become the person that she is today and we couldn’t thank him enough for he has raised an Angel, a woman who inspires many and is admired because of her genuine heart more than that of her beautiful face.


The way Angel Locsin values her family is one of the many reasons why she’s unconditionally loved by many. She’s not just the best actress there is but also the best daughter!

The couple and their team who are behind the #UniTentWeStandPH campaign have donated 12x24 isolation tents to Gat Andres Bonifacio Memorial Medical Center that would be used for persons under investigation and COVID-19 patients. The said campaign aims to help address overcrowding amid the surge of cases of the novel coronavirus disease (COVID-19) by providing additional room at hospitals operating at full capacity due to the pandemic. 22 hospitals have already received isolation tents and Angel is set to provide tents to 38 more in the coming days. Angel Locsin’s stance on ABS-CBN Closure: “Hindi ako uupo at mananahimik”

Earlier this afternoon, National Telecommunications Commission (NTC) orders ABS-CBN to halt its broadcast operations following the expiration of its franchise. This means that more than 11,000 employees of ABS-CBN and its subsidiaries will lose their source of income and it was rather heartbreaking as this shutdown of the Philippines’ biggest broadcast network comes at worst possible time amid pandemic. Darna to the rescue! A closer look to the sleeping tents for our health workers provided by Angel Locsin, Neil Arce and team!

On her Instagram account, Angel Locsin with her fiance Neil Arce and their team launched a "Donate a Bed" project. They aim to source out spare beds from their industry friends which will be used in the sleeping tents for health workers that they are going to set-up. A day after they collected the beds, the team began setting up the sleeping tents and after two days of hard work, they are able to turn-over the fully furnished sleeping tents to Taguig's local government unit. If you are wondering how the sleeping tents look like from the inside or how the security and sanitation on the area works, Niña Aquino, one of the volunteers who helped setting up the tents gave some details about that matter on her Facebook account. According to Aquino, there are receptionist with complete PPE to facilitate registration. There are also security guards roving 24 hours to ensure safety and tents will be disinfected and and will be cleaned regularly.

After visiting evacuation centers in Batangas, Angel Locsin made an accounting and lists down donated goods to Taal Volcano eruption victims. Known for her humanitarian efforts, the actress thanked everyone who helped her for this initiative which includes her family, friends in the industry and fans.
