Angel Locsin believes that she is a mermaid in her past life.




The idea that people are born and reborn and that we all have had past lives dates back at least 3,000 years. Discussions of the subject can be found in the ancient traditions of different countries. Another thing that may give hint of who you were on your past life are your passions just like Angel Locsin who believes that she was a mermaid in her past life because of her passion for swimming.


On her Instagram account, the actress posted a photo of her while swimming and on her caption she wrote “Pretty sure I was a mermaid in my past life...” and everyone agrees that she really was a mermaid in her past life because of how great of a swimmer she is today including her bestfriend, Ms. Bubbles Paraiso.




On the the comment’s section of the same post, Bubbles Paraiso left a comment and said “you lap me everytime we swim together so.. yes. Definitely.” Chito Miranda jumped in to the conversation and jokingly said “pasalamat kayo wala ako dyan... baka tumalsik kayo palabas ng pool sa bilis ko mag-butterfly.”


Before Angel Locsin came to prominence as Alwina of Mulawin and Darna, the actress was once a swimmer. She used to join swimming competitions on her younger years. She was trained by her father, Mr. Angel Colmenares who is also a swimmer.


With everything that Angel Locsin has shown on TV through her roles like Rhian Bonifacio of ‘The General’s Daughter’ that has a lot of underwater scenes and some videos shared online, we are certain that Angel Locsin really is a mermaid in her past life.

Earlier this afternoon, National Telecommunications Commission (NTC) orders ABS-CBN to halt its broadcast operations following the expiration of its franchise. Darna to the rescue! A closer look to the sleeping tents for our health workers provided by Angel Locsin, Neil Arce and team!

On her Instagram account, Angel Locsin with her fiance Neil Arce and their team launched a "Donate a Bed" project. They aim to source out spare beds from their industry friends which will be used in the sleeping tents for health workers that they are going to set-up. A day after they collected the beds, the team began setting up the sleeping tents and after two days of hard work, they are able to turn-over the fully furnished sleeping tents to Taguig's local government unit. If you are wondering how the sleeping tents look like from the inside or how the security and sanitation on the area works, Niña Aquino, one of the volunteers who helped setting up the tents gave some details about that matter on her Facebook account. According to Aquino, there are receptionist with complete PPE to facilitate registration. There are also security guards roving 24 hours to ensure safety and tents will be disinfected and and will be cleaned regularly.

After visiting evacuation centers in Batangas, Angel Locsin made an accounting and lists down donated goods to Taal Volcano eruption victims. Known for her humanitarian efforts, the actress thanked everyone who helped her for this initiative which includes her family, friends in the industry and fans.
