Angel Locsin and Pia Wurtzbach, two of the most loved Filipina women, two of the most empowered among the pack who never fail to speak their mind and inspire others.


These two really are two of the strong empowered women young generation look up to but did you know that they’ve known each other even before they claimed their throne in the limelight? That’s what we recently discovered!




On her Instagram account, Pia Wurtzbach posts series of throwback pictures back when she was just pre-teen during her young modeling days.


One photo was reposted by Angel Locsin on her IG story as she was tagged. It was a photo of them years ago! We don’t have the exact details as to when or what year the photo was taken but we are certain that it was pre-Mulawin era. They may have worked together during their early years in showbizness because as what Angel shared on her previous interviews, before landing a role on TV, she first worked as a model.


Isn’t it amazing how fate works? Who would’ve thought that these two young ladies in the photo taken years ago will turn out to be two of the most loved personalities in the industry today?




This photo somehow shows their humble beginnings; that before we knew Angel Locsin as Darna or as the Queen of Moonstone Trilogy or as the Action-Drama Queen of today, she was once a young girl working her way to the limelight together with Pia Wurtzbach who was crowned as the Ms. Universe 2015!

City of Manila Mayor Isko Moreno was filled with so much gratitude as he thanked those people for their outpouring support to the city of Manila via donations and to those who have provided assistance including the philanthropic actress Angel Locsin and her fiancé Neil Arce. The couple and their team who are behind the #UniTentWeStandPH campaign have donated 12x24 isolation tents to Gat Andres Bonifacio Memorial Medical Center that would be used for persons under investigation and COVID-19 patients. The said campaign aims to help address overcrowding amid the surge of cases of the novel coronavirus disease (COVID-19) by providing additional room at hospitals operating at full capacity due to the pandemic. 22 hospitals have already received isolation tents and Angel is set to provide tents to 38 more in the coming days. Angel Locsin’s stance on ABS-CBN Closure: “Hindi ako uupo at mananahimik”

Earlier this afternoon, National Telecommunications Commission (NTC) orders ABS-CBN to halt its broadcast operations following the expiration of its franchise. This means that more than 11,000 employees of ABS-CBN and its subsidiaries will lose their source of income and it was rather heartbreaking as this shutdown of the Philippines’ biggest broadcast network comes at worst possible time amid pandemic. Darna to the rescue! A closer look to the sleeping tents for our health workers provided by Angel Locsin, Neil Arce and team!

On her Instagram account, Angel Locsin with her fiance Neil Arce and their team launched a "Donate a Bed" project. They aim to source out spare beds from their industry friends which will be used in the sleeping tents for health workers that they are going to set-up. A day after they collected the beds, the team began setting up the sleeping tents and after two days of hard work, they are able to turn-over the fully furnished sleeping tents to Taguig's local government unit. If you are wondering how the sleeping tents look like from the inside or how the security and sanitation on the area works, Niña Aquino, one of the volunteers who helped setting up the tents gave some details about that matter on her Facebook account. After visiting evacuation centers in Batangas, Angel Locsin made an accounting and lists down donated goods to Taal Volcano eruption victims. Known for her humanitarian efforts, the actress thanked everyone who helped her for this initiative which includes her family, friends in the industry and fans. On her Instagram post, the actress expressed her gratitude to more than 100 volunteers who helped them repack food packs and hygiene kits.
