Angel Locsin really owned 2019! Aside from the biggest plot twist on her lovelife, she also achieved milestones on her career coming back in the primetime scene as Rhian Bonifacio in ‘The General’s Daughter’ five years after the phenomenal ‘The Legal Wife.’


‘The General’s Daughter’ which is billed as the biggest teleserye of 2019 did not disappoint the viewers who waited for Angel Locsin for five years.


It became the number one most talked about TV show on twitter and the third most watched TV show of 2019 (Kantar Media).


The show also made history as the first TV show airing at 8:30PM to take over the longest running teleserye ‘Ang Probinsyano’ and become the most watched TV show in the country based on Kantar media.




It was October 04, 2019 when ‘The General’s Daughter’ concluded its story. Everyone waited for its finale making it as one of the most watched show that day. The show’s finale episode gained 35.9% viewership based on Kantar Media and 18.6% people’s rating based on AGB/Nutam data.


The General’s Daughter holds the record as the highest rated finale episode for 2019 based on AGB/Nutam data. Halik (16.0%) placed second followed by Ngayon at Kailanman (15.5%) at third place, fourth on the list was Onanay (14.8%) while Sahaya and Kara Mia took the fifth and sixth place respectively.


No one can ever question ‘The General’s Daughter’s’ success. Apart from all of the amazing things mentioned above, the show has received numerous recognitions from various award-giving bodies!

Earlier this afternoon, National Telecommunications Commission (NTC) orders ABS-CBN to halt its broadcast operations following the expiration of its franchise. Darna to the rescue! A closer look to the sleeping tents for our health workers provided by Angel Locsin, Neil Arce and team!

On her Instagram account, Angel Locsin with her fiance Neil Arce and their team launched a "Donate a Bed" project. They aim to source out spare beds from their industry friends which will be used in the sleeping tents for health workers that they are going to set-up. A day after they collected the beds, the team began setting up the sleeping tents and after two days of hard work, they are able to turn-over the fully furnished sleeping tents to Taguig's local government unit. If you are wondering how the sleeping tents look like from the inside or how the security and sanitation on the area works, Niña Aquino, one of the volunteers who helped setting up the tents gave some details about that matter on her Facebook account. After visiting evacuation centers in Batangas, Angel Locsin made an accounting and lists down donated goods to Taal Volcano eruption victims. Known for her humanitarian efforts, the actress thanked everyone who helped her for this initiative which includes her family, friends in the industry and fans.
