Magandang Buhay Momshies congratulate Angel Locsin for her inclusion in Forbes Asia’s Philanthropy list!




Before 2019 ends, Angel Locsin was named as one of Forbes Asia’s Heroes of Philanthropies alongside billionaires, entrepreneurs and some celebrities across the region who are committed to solving some of the most pressing issues facing the Asia-Pacific.


The news about Angel’s inclusion to the prestigious list has taken the internet by storm! She’s been the headlines of various write-ups and news on TV and on print.


Angel’s colleagues and her fiancé Neil Arce took to Instagram to congratulate the actress.




Aside from all the congratulatory messages she’s receiving online, Magandang Buhay momshies did not forget to mention this recognition and congratulate the actress on the morning show Magandang Buhay.


“Very proud tayo sa kanya kasi eversince naririnig natin syang tumutulong pero dahil na lang sa mga post ng ibang tao at makikita mo talaga na malaki ang puso nya sa ating mga kapwa Pilipino sa pagtulong. To the rescue ‘pag may nasalanta, nalindol, andun agad sya para tumulong, nakakaproud talaga sya, hulog talaga sya ng langit,” — Momshie Melai.


The show prepared a special VTR for Angel Locsin which includes compilation of photos shared by various Netizens on their respective social media account where Angel was seen helping others and distributing relief goods for families who were badly affected by series of quakes in Mindanao and Marawi strike.

Angel Locsin’s stance on ABS-CBN Closure: “Hindi ako uupo at mananahimik”

Earlier this afternoon, National Telecommunications Commission (NTC) orders ABS-CBN to halt its broadcast operations following the expiration of its franchise. This means that more than 11,000 employees of ABS-CBN and its subsidiaries will lose their source of income and it was rather heartbreaking as this shutdown of the Philippines’ biggest broadcast network comes at worst possible time amid pandemic. Darna to the rescue! A closer look to the sleeping tents for our health workers provided by Angel Locsin, Neil Arce and team!

On her Instagram account, Angel Locsin with her fiance Neil Arce and their team launched a "Donate a Bed" project. They aim to source out spare beds from their industry friends which will be used in the sleeping tents for health workers that they are going to set-up. A day after they collected the beds, the team began setting up the sleeping tents and after two days of hard work, they are able to turn-over the fully furnished sleeping tents to Taguig's local government unit. If you are wondering how the sleeping tents look like from the inside or how the security and sanitation on the area works, Niña Aquino, one of the volunteers who helped setting up the tents gave some details about that matter on her Facebook account. After visiting evacuation centers in Batangas, Angel Locsin made an accounting and lists down donated goods to Taal Volcano eruption victims. Known for her humanitarian efforts, the actress thanked everyone who helped her for this initiative which includes her family, friends in the industry and fans.
