Angel Locsin is Gawad Lasallianeta’s Most Outstanding Female TV Lead Dramatic Actress!




No one can question Angel Locsin’s excellence in acting. For years that she’s been portraying various roles with various levels of complexity, she never fail to do an outstanding job breathing life to those characters.


Some of her notable characters that made a mark in the history of Phillipine TV are Mulawin, Darna, Asian Treasures, the moonstone trilogy: Lobo, Imortal, and La Luna Sangre, The Legal Wife, and her recent record-breaking show The General’s Daughter!




Because of her impeccable portrayal as Rhian Bonifacio in The General’s Daughter, Angel Locsin has already earned nine Best Actress awards from various award giving bodies and just recently, she just bagged her tenth recognition as she was hailed as Gawad Lasallianeta’s most outstanding female TV lead dramatic actress besting other nominees such as Bianca Umali, Dimples Romana, Judy Ann Santos, Kris Bernal, Maja Salvador and Yam Concepcion.


Angel Locsin has yet again proved that she is indeed worthy to be called as the Action-Drama Queen. Her portrayal in ‘The General’s Daughter’ gained not just the validation of the viewing public but the validation of some of the most prestigious award-giving bodies in the country.


Her character, Rhian Bonifacio, now belongs to the list of iconic characters Angel Locsin breathe life into and will forever go down in TV history as one of the most iconic female lead character in an equally iconic TV series that will forever be remembered.


Winners for various categories at the 3rd Gawad Lasallianeta were announced on their official facebook page. Awarding ceremony was held today January 27, 2020 at De La Salle Araneta University!

City of Manila Mayor Isko Moreno was filled with so much gratitude as he thanked those people for their outpouring support to the city of Manila via donations and to those who have provided assistance including the philanthropic actress Angel Locsin and her fiancé Neil Arce. The couple and their team who are behind the #UniTentWeStandPH campaign have donated 12x24 isolation tents to Gat Andres Bonifacio Memorial Medical Center that would be used for persons under investigation and COVID-19 patients. The said campaign aims to help address overcrowding amid the surge of cases of the novel coronavirus disease (COVID-19) by providing additional room at hospitals operating at full capacity due to the pandemic. 22 hospitals have already received isolation tents and Angel is set to provide tents to 38 more in the coming days. Angel Locsin’s stance on ABS-CBN Closure: “Hindi ako uupo at mananahimik”

Earlier this afternoon, National Telecommunications Commission (NTC) orders ABS-CBN to halt its broadcast operations following the expiration of its franchise. This means that more than 11,000 employees of ABS-CBN and its subsidiaries will lose their source of income and it was rather heartbreaking as this shutdown of the Philippines’ biggest broadcast network comes at worst possible time amid pandemic. Darna to the rescue! A closer look to the sleeping tents for our health workers provided by Angel Locsin, Neil Arce and team!

On her Instagram account, Angel Locsin with her fiance Neil Arce and their team launched a "Donate a Bed" project. They aim to source out spare beds from their industry friends which will be used in the sleeping tents for health workers that they are going to set-up. A day after they collected the beds, the team began setting up the sleeping tents and after two days of hard work, they are able to turn-over the fully furnished sleeping tents to Taguig's local government unit. If you are wondering how the sleeping tents look like from the inside or how the security and sanitation on the area works, Niña Aquino, one of the volunteers who helped setting up the tents gave some details about that matter on her Facebook account. According to Aquino, there are receptionist with complete PPE to facilitate registration. There are also security guards roving 24 hours to ensure safety and tents will be disinfected and and will be cleaned regularly.

After visiting evacuation centers in Batangas, Angel Locsin made an accounting and lists down donated goods to Taal Volcano eruption victims. Known for her humanitarian efforts, the actress thanked everyone who helped her for this initiative which includes her family, friends in the industry and fans.
