Angel Locsin and other celebrities extend help to victims of Taal Volcano eruption.




“Bayanihan” is a known Filipino culture that we should be proud of. When in need, the Filipino people lend a helping hand wholeheartedly to those who need it the most just like the recent eruption of one of the active volcanoes in the country; Taal Volcano.


Taal Volcano started spewing ashes last January 12, 2020. Because of this, people within the 14 km danger zone have to be evacuated and were displaced to nearby towns in Batangas.


Thousands of families has to leave their home with little to nothing in their pocket. Some of our kababayans, Angel Locsin and other celebrities came to the rescue and lend a helping hand to the displaced.




Just recently, Angel Locsin made headlines because of her initiative to help the families affected by Taal Volcano eruption.


On a post she shared on her Instagram account, the actress lists in detail the donations received and the total number of food packs and hygiene kits that was distributed to 3 evacuation centers in Batangas. The actress also thanked the donors and volunteers who helped her in this initiative.


Apart from Angel Locsin, other celebrities also extend help to the victims of Taal Volcano eruption. Melai Cantiveros and Jason Francisco, Matteo Guidicielli, Myrtle Sarrosa, Karla Estrada, Sofia Andres, Jayson Gainza, Korina Sanchez, Piolo Pascual and Judy Ann Santos are among the stars who also extend a helping hand to the victims of Taal Volcano eruption.



Taal Volcano remains to be on ‘Alert Level 4,’ people within the danger zone are instructed to stay at the assigned evacuation centers for their safety. Our kababayans are needing our help still. We encourage everyone to share your blessings and lend a helping hand. #BangonBatangas!

The couple and their team who are behind the #UniTentWeStandPH campaign have donated 12x24 isolation tents to Gat Andres Bonifacio Memorial Medical Center that would be used for persons under investigation and COVID-19 patients. Angel Locsin’s stance on ABS-CBN Closure: “Hindi ako uupo at mananahimik”

Earlier this afternoon, National Telecommunications Commission (NTC) orders ABS-CBN to halt its broadcast operations following the expiration of its franchise. This means that more than 11,000 employees of ABS-CBN and its subsidiaries will lose their source of income and it was rather heartbreaking as this shutdown of the Philippines’ biggest broadcast network comes at worst possible time amid pandemic. Darna to the rescue! A closer look to the sleeping tents for our health workers provided by Angel Locsin, Neil Arce and team!

On her Instagram account, Angel Locsin with her fiance Neil Arce and their team launched a "Donate a Bed" project. They aim to source out spare beds from their industry friends which will be used in the sleeping tents for health workers that they are going to set-up. A day after they collected the beds, the team began setting up the sleeping tents and after two days of hard work, they are able to turn-over the fully furnished sleeping tents to Taguig's local government unit. If you are wondering how the sleeping tents look like from the inside or how the security and sanitation on the area works, Niña Aquino, one of the volunteers who helped setting up the tents gave some details about that matter on her Facebook account. According to Aquino, there are receptionist with complete PPE to facilitate registration. There are also security guards roving 24 hours to ensure safety and tents will be disinfected and and will be cleaned regularly.

After visiting evacuation centers in Batangas, Angel Locsin made an accounting and lists down donated goods to Taal Volcano eruption victims. Known for her humanitarian efforts, the actress thanked everyone who helped her for this initiative which includes her family, friends in the industry and fans.
