A netizen to Angel Locsin, “Thank you for always helping our kababayans in need.”




Recently, Angel Locsin once again made headlines for her humanitarian efforts that were caught on cam by the some netizens who witnessed her acts of philanthropy for the victims of Taal Volcano eruption posting photos and videos online.


It immediately flooded the social media drawing much admiration from her followers calling her the real life “Darna.”


The actress was spotted packing donated goods and reportedly pulled off an all-nighter relief operation which were loaded in a large truck for immediate delivery to three evacuation centers in Batangas as seen on the photos and videos that circulated on social media.




On a video shared by a netizen with the Twitter handle @chatravelita, Angel was spotted personally visiting the affected areas and distributing the relief goods herself to the evacuees.

His caption went:
“Thank you for always helping our kababayans in need, our Angel on earth I love you @143redangel #TaalEruption2020”


The Taal Volcano erupted on the afternoon of January 12, 2020 that displaced thousands of families in Batangas and caused millions-worth of damage just days after its initial eruption. The alert status remained at Level 4 and although it’s quiet at the moment, experts say we cannot let our guard down.


Just like Angel who keeps things on the lookout still posting updates and information about the situation in Taal, let’s all be of use and help out in our own little ways. #HelpTaal
