Neil Arce, proud of Angel Locsin’s inclusion in Forbes’ Heroes of Philanthropy list!




Just recently, Forbes Asia released their annual list of Heroes of Philanthropy: Catalysts For Change and everyone is rejoicing because one of the most loved celebrities in the country is included in the said list.


Angel Locsin was hailed as one of the Heroes of Philanthropy which honors billionaires, entrepreneurs and celebrities across the region who are committed to solving some of the most pressing issues facing the Asia-Pacific.


Everyone expressed their admiration to the actress and took to social media their congratulatory message to the actress.


With this recognition, almost everyone are sharing how proud they are with Angel Locsin one of which is her beau, soon to be husband, Mr. Neil Arce.




On his instagram account, Neil Arce shared “Dahil nahihiya ka i-post, ako na lang magpost. My strong, independent woman! I’m so proud of you, my Love!”


The said post has garnered a lot of attention from their followers and colleagues also expressed how amazed they were with the actress. On her comment, Bea Alonzo wrote “Grabe ka! Idol!”, “We’re not worthyyy” Direk Tonet Jadaone said.


Neil Arce has been very supportive of Angel Locsin, it can be remembered that just last month, he accompanied Angel in her relief operation in the areas badly hit by series of earthquakes in Mindanao which was also highlighted in the special feature by Forbes Asia.


With this recognition, Forbes Asia acknowledge Angel Locsin’s efforts in helping others in her own way.


The actress has reportedly donated as much as 15 million pesos which were allocated for scholarship grants, campaigns to advocate rights of indigenous people and to end violence against women and children, and to assist for victims of calamities.




More than being lucky, Neil Arce is truly blessed to have an ‘Angel’ as his future wife!

City of Manila Mayor Isko Moreno was filled with so much gratitude as he thanked those people for their outpouring support to the city of Manila via donations and to those who have provided assistance including the philanthropic actress Angel Locsin and her fiancé Neil Arce. The couple and their team who are behind the #UniTentWeStandPH campaign have donated 12x24 isolation tents to Gat Andres Bonifacio Memorial Medical Center that would be used for persons under investigation and COVID-19 patients. The said campaign aims to help address overcrowding amid the surge of cases of the novel coronavirus disease (COVID-19) by providing additional room at hospitals operating at full capacity due to the pandemic. 22 hospitals have already received isolation tents and Angel is set to provide tents to 38 more in the coming days. Angel Locsin’s stance on ABS-CBN Closure: “Hindi ako uupo at mananahimik”

Earlier this afternoon, National Telecommunications Commission (NTC) orders ABS-CBN to halt its broadcast operations following the expiration of its franchise. This means that more than 11,000 employees of ABS-CBN and its subsidiaries will lose their source of income and it was rather heartbreaking as this shutdown of the Philippines’ biggest broadcast network comes at worst possible time amid pandemic. Darna to the rescue! A closer look to the sleeping tents for our health workers provided by Angel Locsin, Neil Arce and team!

On her Instagram account, Angel Locsin with her fiance Neil Arce and their team launched a "Donate a Bed" project. They aim to source out spare beds from their industry friends which will be used in the sleeping tents for health workers that they are going to set-up. A day after they collected the beds, the team began setting up the sleeping tents and after two days of hard work, they are able to turn-over the fully furnished sleeping tents to Taguig's local government unit. If you are wondering how the sleeping tents look like from the inside or how the security and sanitation on the area works, Niña Aquino, one of the volunteers who helped setting up the tents gave some details about that matter on her Facebook account. According to Aquino, there are receptionist with complete PPE to facilitate registration. There are also security guards roving 24 hours to ensure safety and tents will be disinfected and and will be cleaned regularly.

After visiting evacuation centers in Batangas, Angel Locsin made an accounting and lists down donated goods to Taal Volcano eruption victims. Known for her humanitarian efforts, the actress thanked everyone who helped her for this initiative which includes her family, friends in the industry and fans.
