Angel Locsin gets emotional while watching U2’s The Joshua Tree Tour 2019 in Japan!





Angel Locsin who is one of the most admired personalities in the country is also a fan herself. She is a fan of music and rock bands. She is very vocal about her admiration to Nirvana’s late frontman, Kurt Cobain, she is also a fan of Guns N’ Roses, and just recently, Angel Locsin went all out fangirling to U2’s frontman, Bono.


U2 is currently on tour and right after their concert in Singapore, the popular rock band performed in Japan and Angel Locsin did not let the opportunity to witness her favorite band perform live pass.


After her good friends Vhong and Tanya’s wedding that took place in Japan, the actress together with her fiancè meet up with their friends to witness the concert.




With the couple that night was Ms. Eula Valdes, ‘The General’s Daughter’s’ director, Direk Manny Palo, Ehra Madrigal and her husband, and Paolo Paraiso and his girlfriend.


On her Instagram account, the actress shared her experience after watching the concert and on her caption she wrote “Buong buhay kong pinangarap to! Maraming salamat @u2 Mahal kita Bono! naiiyak ako na nagtatalon ako at wala akong matinong videopero nag enjoy naman ako sa event (Gusto ko lang i-add, yan na yung mga matitinonung lumabas sila, bumaha ang luha ko na iyak bata talaga, lol. Pag tingin ko kay Ms. @eulavaldes , sya rin hahaha!).”


The actress also shared a video of herself being amused to Bono and their music and it is the cutest thing!



Apart from their music, Angel Locsin is very vocal of her admiration to Bono because of his philanthropic efforts, he lent his popularity to causes such as human rights, gender equality, and health care.

City of Manila Mayor Isko Moreno was filled with so much gratitude as he thanked those people for their outpouring support to the city of Manila via donations and to those who have provided assistance including the philanthropic actress Angel Locsin and her fiancé Neil Arce. The couple and their team who are behind the #UniTentWeStandPH campaign have donated 12x24 isolation tents to Gat Andres Bonifacio Memorial Medical Center that would be used for persons under investigation and COVID-19 patients. The said campaign aims to help address overcrowding amid the surge of cases of the novel coronavirus disease (COVID-19) by providing additional room at hospitals operating at full capacity due to the pandemic. 22 hospitals have already received isolation tents and Angel is set to provide tents to 38 more in the coming days. Angel Locsin’s stance on ABS-CBN Closure: “Hindi ako uupo at mananahimik”

Earlier this afternoon, National Telecommunications Commission (NTC) orders ABS-CBN to halt its broadcast operations following the expiration of its franchise. This means that more than 11,000 employees of ABS-CBN and its subsidiaries will lose their source of income and it was rather heartbreaking as this shutdown of the Philippines’ biggest broadcast network comes at worst possible time amid pandemic. Darna to the rescue! A closer look to the sleeping tents for our health workers provided by Angel Locsin, Neil Arce and team!

On her Instagram account, Angel Locsin with her fiance Neil Arce and their team launched a "Donate a Bed" project. They aim to source out spare beds from their industry friends which will be used in the sleeping tents for health workers that they are going to set-up. A day after they collected the beds, the team began setting up the sleeping tents and after two days of hard work, they are able to turn-over the fully furnished sleeping tents to Taguig's local government unit. If you are wondering how the sleeping tents look like from the inside or how the security and sanitation on the area works, Niña Aquino, one of the volunteers who helped setting up the tents gave some details about that matter on her Facebook account. According to Aquino, there are receptionist with complete PPE to facilitate registration. There are also security guards roving 24 hours to ensure safety and tents will be disinfected and and will be cleaned regularly.

After visiting evacuation centers in Batangas, Angel Locsin made an accounting and lists down donated goods to Taal Volcano eruption victims. Known for her humanitarian efforts, the actress thanked everyone who helped her for this initiative which includes her family, friends in the industry and fans.
