A netizen shares how humble Angel Locsin is. “She stood there until someone offered her a seat.”






Irish Rock Band U2’s frontman Bono, real name Paul Hewson, had press conference at the Philippine Red Cross Headquarters in Mandaluyong on December 10, the day before their first ever concert in the country held at the Philippine Arena, Bulacan.


He led an initiative for on-demand and emergency blood deliveries by drone - a partnership between humanitarian organization Philippine Red Cross and California-based automated logistics company Zipline, of which Bono is a board member.


Spotted at the press conference was Angel Locsin who is a PRC volunteer and a self-confessed die hard of the rock band.




It was recently reported how Angel Locsin completely lost her chill around her idol when she came right face to face with Bono.


It surely was a priceless moment and a dream come true for Angel and fans couldn’t help but express their joy seeing that side of her.


Meanwhile, a netizen who goes by the Facebook name Anoj Magno Munsayac Bernal couldn’t help but share how humble the actress is and posted a tweet that says:

“You know who was at the #Bono at @philredcross as well? Angel Locsin. And she was so unobtrusive. She sat somewhere at the back instead of in front where seats were available. Didn’t call attention to herself even if she is a celeb herself and a red cross volunteer.” - @Pulitika2010


She also shared a photo and captioned it with, “She didn't even get to sit right away because every seat was taken. She stood there until someone offered her a seat. IloveuAngel! Angel Locsin”

Angel Locsin’s stance on ABS-CBN Closure: “Hindi ako uupo at mananahimik”

Earlier this afternoon, National Telecommunications Commission (NTC) orders ABS-CBN to halt its broadcast operations following the expiration of its franchise. This means that more than 11,000 employees of ABS-CBN and its subsidiaries will lose their source of income and it was rather heartbreaking as this shutdown of the Philippines’ biggest broadcast network comes at worst possible time amid pandemic. Darna to the rescue! A closer look to the sleeping tents for our health workers provided by Angel Locsin, Neil Arce and team!

On her Instagram account, Angel Locsin with her fiance Neil Arce and their team launched a "Donate a Bed" project. They aim to source out spare beds from their industry friends which will be used in the sleeping tents for health workers that they are going to set-up. A day after they collected the beds, the team began setting up the sleeping tents and after two days of hard work, they are able to turn-over the fully furnished sleeping tents to Taguig's local government unit. If you are wondering how the sleeping tents look like from the inside or how the security and sanitation on the area works, Niña Aquino, one of the volunteers who helped setting up the tents gave some details about that matter on her Facebook account. According to Aquino, there are receptionist with complete PPE to facilitate registration. There are also security guards roving 24 hours to ensure safety and tents will be disinfected and and will be cleaned regularly.

After visiting evacuation centers in Batangas, Angel Locsin made an accounting and lists down donated goods to Taal Volcano eruption victims. Known for her humanitarian efforts, the actress thanked everyone who helped her for this initiative which includes her family, friends in the industry and fans.
