The secret behind the long lasting friendship of Dimples Romana and Angel Locsin revealed!




Dimples Romana and Angel Locsin, our favorite womance since 2009. From reel to real, that’s how one can perfectly describe their friendship.


They played as bestfriends in “Lobo” where Angel is the “Huling Bantay” and Dimples was her “Tagapangalaga” or “Gabay” never did they know, the friendship that started in front of the cam would eventually turn out to be a friendship that will last a lifetime off cam.


But what really is the secret behind their long lasting friendship? That even after a decade, they managed to stay connected and become best of friends given their busy schedule? That’s what Dimples Romana shared on one of her interviews during the press conference of her new endorsement. When asked about the secret of their long lasting friendship, Dimples Romana simply said — “Kasi nakita na namin ang mga pinagdaanan namin, nakakapagpatibay talaga yun ng pagkakaibigan, yung nakita nyo at natulungan nyo ang isa’t-isa na bumangon sa mga pinagdadaanan sa buhay.”




Also as per Dimples, they haven’t had any rift, misunderstanding not disagreements and jokingly said “Baka ako malapit na mapikon kasi binabash ako ‘nyan eh sa Instagram. Hindi kasi sya sanay, ngayon may mga endorsements ako na nag-aarte arte ako.”  


Dimples is referring to Angel’s comments on some of her Instagram posts teasing her and making fun of her lengthy captions. She also mentioned how she consistently reminds Angel to take care of herself and to take it easy in doing action stunts.


Angel Locsin and Dimples Romana’s friendship is the kind of friendship that you would wish to have for yourself.




Their’s is a proof that finding genuine friendship in the exhilarating world of show business which is perceived to be almost impossible is indeed possible.

The said campaign aims to help address overcrowding amid the surge of cases of the novel coronavirus disease (COVID-19) by providing additional room at hospitals operating at full capacity due to the pandemic. 22 hospitals have already received isolation tents and Angel is set to provide tents to 38 more in the coming days. Angel Locsin’s stance on ABS-CBN Closure: “Hindi ako uupo at mananahimik”

Earlier this afternoon, National Telecommunications Commission (NTC) orders ABS-CBN to halt its broadcast operations following the expiration of its franchise. This means that more than 11,000 employees of ABS-CBN and its subsidiaries will lose their source of income and it was rather heartbreaking as this shutdown of the Philippines’ biggest broadcast network comes at worst possible time amid pandemic. Darna to the rescue! A closer look to the sleeping tents for our health workers provided by Angel Locsin, Neil Arce and team!

On her Instagram account, Angel Locsin with her fiance Neil Arce and their team launched a "Donate a Bed" project. They aim to source out spare beds from their industry friends which will be used in the sleeping tents for health workers that they are going to set-up. A day after they collected the beds, the team began setting up the sleeping tents and after two days of hard work, they are able to turn-over the fully furnished sleeping tents to Taguig's local government unit. If you are wondering how the sleeping tents look like from the inside or how the security and sanitation on the area works, Niña Aquino, one of the volunteers who helped setting up the tents gave some details about that matter on her Facebook account. According to Aquino, there are receptionist with complete PPE to facilitate registration. There are also security guards roving 24 hours to ensure safety and tents will be disinfected and and will be cleaned regularly.

After visiting evacuation centers in Batangas, Angel Locsin made an accounting and lists down donated goods to Taal Volcano eruption victims. Known for her humanitarian efforts, the actress thanked everyone who helped her for this initiative which includes her family, friends in the industry and fans.
