PH Red Cross Davao Del Sur Chapter expresses their heartfelt gratitude to Angel Locsin and Neil Arce!




Angel Locsin and her fiancé Neil Arce are in Davao to extend help to the Mindanaoans who are badly affected by the series of earthquakes these past few days.


Their photos shared by a Netizen who saw them buying grocery items for their relief operation went extremely viral gaining thousands of likes and shares and positive feedbacks.


They were lauded and admired because of their initiative in extending a helping hand to those in need.


After buying the items for their relief operation, the couple and their team went straight to Philippine Red Cross Davao Del Sur Chapter to pack relief goods.




As seen on the photos, Angel Locsin is very hands on in preparing everything. With other volunteers from the chapter, they managed to pack the goods and distribute part of it to those who have been greatly impacted by the Mindanao quake in the area.

They shared few photos while the team is in action packing and distributing relief goods and on the caption they wrote

The couple and their team who are behind the #UniTentWeStandPH campaign have donated 12x24 isolation tents to Gat Andres Bonifacio Memorial Medical Center that would be used for persons under investigation and COVID-19 patients. The said campaign aims to help address overcrowding amid the surge of cases of the novel coronavirus disease (COVID-19) by providing additional room at hospitals operating at full capacity due to the pandemic. 22 hospitals have already received isolation tents and Angel is set to provide tents to 38 more in the coming days. Earlier this afternoon, National Telecommunications Commission (NTC) orders ABS-CBN to halt its broadcast operations following the expiration of its franchise. This means that more than 11,000 employees of ABS-CBN and its subsidiaries will lose their source of income and it was rather heartbreaking as this shutdown of the Philippines’ biggest broadcast network comes at worst possible time amid pandemic. Darna to the rescue! A closer look to the sleeping tents for our health workers provided by Angel Locsin, Neil Arce and team!

On her Instagram account, Angel Locsin with her fiance Neil Arce and their team launched a "Donate a Bed" project. They aim to source out spare beds from their industry friends which will be used in the sleeping tents for health workers that they are going to set-up. A day after they collected the beds, the team began setting up the sleeping tents and after two days of hard work, they are able to turn-over the fully furnished sleeping tents to Taguig's local government unit. If you are wondering how the sleeping tents look like from the inside or how the security and sanitation on the area works, Niña Aquino, one of the volunteers who helped setting up the tents gave some details about that matter on her Facebook account. According to Aquino, there are receptionist with complete PPE to facilitate registration. There are also security guards roving 24 hours to ensure safety and tents will be disinfected and and will be cleaned regularly.

After visiting evacuation centers in Batangas, Angel Locsin made an accounting and lists down donated goods to Taal Volcano eruption victims. Known for her humanitarian efforts, the actress thanked everyone who helped her for this initiative which includes her family, friends in the industry and fans.
